    This was my first time renting a home in Crystal River (had previously stayed at Plantation Inn) and it was absolutely perfect for our fishing needs. The location is ideal, just minutes away from Crystal River, and a short boat ride to the Gulf. There were manatee and rolling tarpon in the canal and the boat dock is impressive and can accommodate nearly any size boat. The house itself was spacious, beautiful, nicely furnished, and extremely clean. Didn't have time to use pool or jacuzzi, but they were a nice option. The ICE MACHINE on the back porch was incredible. Very close to restaurants and sight-seeing attractions. Dealing with Dan and Lena was a pleasure and we will certainly be back to Crystal River and this home in the future.

    What a beautiful home in a fantastic location.. I have been heading to Florida almost every year for the past 10 years with my family during March Break, but this is our first visit with my wife, Mother and 2 young children to Crystal River. The home was perfect. and there was something nearby for everyone. The Snorkeling at 3 sisters in Crystal River was the most amazing experience for my kids. the seafood restaurants in the area were great and reasonably priced. we took a 1.5 hour day trip into clearwater to visit the marine aquarium and Winter the Dolfin which was another fun and informative trip for kids. We also spent some time just down the road in Homassasa Springs State park were we saw tons of well cared for wild life and even took in a live Manatee rescue... Wow again what a great experience for kids. As for the home itself The bedrooms were spacious, and clean. the 2 bathrooms were fantastic and time saving for getting on the move. The Kitchen is the best out of any rental property we have ever had, and the living room and dining room are a beatiful open concept that creates a great vibe for hanging with the fam. Then you get the real treat, a screened in pool area with a dining table and GAS or Charcoal bbq options. We spent a great deal of time in this space for lunches. Then there is the canal front which is a great place to read relax. Overall this is the best place I have ever stayed while on Vacation in Florida and If youre looking for a great family spot this is it

    Great home with plenty of room and very comfortable. Amenities such as cable and internet. Disappointing that the hot tub and pool were advertised but not allowed to heat for use. Excellent access for avid boating and fishing.

    We just loved this home and hope to stay here again. It is very nicely decorated, a good open floor plan, and very comfortable. It was uncomplicated to rent this home, the owner is very easy to get in touch with, and very helpful. The location is close to town for restaurants, grocery shopping, and getting last minute items. Better yet, a great location on the Crystal River; a short drive to Kings Bay or to get out in the gulf. We enjoyed scalloping on this trip getting our limit, and played in the springs. There was ample space to tie our boat up at the house. We had some very young kids and the house worked great with them. The kids were brought to the state park while we scalloped and they had lots of fun. We baked, fried, grilled, etc at the house and had pretty much all the supplies we needed. We did use paper plates and cutlery though for ease of clean up. The pool was great but the hot tub is not for use which we would have enjoyed. We have rented a lot of homes and this is one of the best experiences we have ever had. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful vacation!

    This property was exactly as described. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner Dan was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The pool was great! Quick access to Kings Bay and Crystal River. We would definitely consider this property for our next stay on the river.

    The home was better in person than in the pictures. Communication with Dan while setting up the stay was seamless. The home had everything needed to accomodate two families as far as appliances, grilles, plates etc. Grocery stores etc are just a few miles down the road. We enjoyed the local restaurants, state parks, scalloping, and off shore fishing in the gulf of mexico for groupers. The ice machine on the back pool deck was perfect if you plan to boat, fish, or scallop. Boating to your choice of several restaurants and springs located in Kings bay is just minutes away and the ride to the gulf is about a 15 minute run by boat. Its about the same to the restaurants by car. The docks (2) were very nice and easily accomodated two 25-28 ft boat's. The home is located in a safe ,quiet and clean neighborhood that is tucked against a natural area. We saw wildlife including gators, manatee, birds and wild pigs through out the week. There is plenty of local activities and sites to check out or just sit back and relax. We had a wonderful stay and will be back next year to do it again. Thanks Dan!

    This home was a great location for our family vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay, of many to come, in Crystal River! Dan, the owner was very helpful and accommodating. The house was stocked with lots of convenient supplies such as paper goods, detergents, pots/pans, child proofing on outlets etc. The big ice machine was also nice to have for our boat coolers. Very comfy & highly recommended! Thanks so much Dan!

    This house is in a perfect location on the river. You are minutes from Kings Bay or the Gulf. Our stay was great, I cannot say enough about the owner Dan. Throught the entire process he was readily available for any communication. We really felt like we were at home during our stay. We will be back,but not soon enough. Thanks Dan.

    This house has everything - you'd be crazy to stay anywhere else! We felt right at home and had a great time. We couldn't have asked for more. The home is beautifuly decorated from top to bottom and very comfortable. The homeowner was great to work with and made our last minute get-away effortless. We will definitely be back soon!!

    Nice house, just as advertised---better. Unlike most rentals, owner has nice things for you to use to cook, etc. Wife and her friend loved the pool. I liked the easy access to our boat at the pier. Fishing poor for us in June. Owner very helpful and accessible.

    We absolutely recommend this home to anyone seeking to escape the everyday hectic world and experience true paradise! The pictures on the website truly do not do justice to this beautiful home! The decor and accomodations are absolutely all of the best we have experienced during past rental home vacations! The location is perfect, seeing manatees everyday and having such great access to the river and all that Crystal River has to offer just minutes away to everything! Waking up to have coffee on the boat dock watching manatees, spending the day exploring all of the springs with ease and topping the night off on the pool deck relaxing! Words cannot express what a wonderful time we had and will be counting down until we can visit this home again! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

    My family stayed here over Easter weekend and the only thing that I was disappointed with was that we didn't stay longer. This home was meticulously clean, appointed with everything you would need and absolutely gorgeous - inside and out. We had loads of fun just hanging out by the pool, having bbq and relaxing. We had manatees swim by the dock and fished every morning and evening. The owner was kind enough (even on a holiday weekend) to call and make sure we found the house alright and gave us a list of his favorite eats and fun hang outs; he even helped us to find a fishing charter. We could not have had a better house. It has everything - beautiful views, great floor plan, pool, dock, restaurants and everything you would want to do in Crystal River is close by. We will definitely be staying again.

    My sister and I enjoyed our girls getaway at this property. It was clean, well-maintained, comfortable, nicely decorated, and relaxing. However, we learned of several discrepancies from the property listing only after we were locked into our rental agreement. For instance, the advertised "hot tub" was not heated, there was no phone for the advertised "local phone calls," and the ice maker was not functioning. (The listing has since been edited to omit these items.) We also felt the kitchen was poorly equipped (e.g., no toaster, leaky coffee maker). There were no instructions for guests regarding the operation of electronics, lights, etc. That made our stay rather frustrating at times. One example, we were unable to use the TV in the bedroom. People with mobility issues should be aware that the only access to the premises is by stairs, even the pool is on another level, accessed by a spiral staircase. So, if you're picturing nice dinners on the waterside deck, you'll have quite a challenge ahead of you. We felt communication regarding the property could have been better. All communication with the owner had to go through a third party assistant. Important information (which may have changed our minds about staying there) was not revealed until we were under contract, and just before out stay. The canal access and dock are great! The setting is beautiful, at the end of a quiet street. We really enjoyed the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park, eating at Crackers, walking around King's Bay, and unwinding in the pool. Overall, there was plenty to like about this property, but several important things needed improvement for future guests.

    Owner response: This home does have a jacuzzi built into the pool but we don't encourage anyone to use the heater since one of our tenants burned up the pump when they did not return the valves to the correct position when they left. It functions fine but it is not heated. We don't offer a home phone since most everyone has a cell phone. The 500lb ice maker works great but it does have to be turned on. It makes plenty of ice in a short period of time. During the summer it is always turned on. The kitchen is fully equipped (one toaster has been addded) and has a great coffee maker that has never leaked. We have three TVs which have cable and are easy to use. The owner provides his cell phone for any questions any time. The pictures show an upper deck with two sets of stairs leading to the pool which has a gas and charcoal grill plus patio furniture. There are two docks for boats and easy access to the gulf or springs with no bridges. This is truely one of the nicer rental homes in Crystal River and is very up-to-date.
