This home was very well located, extremely well furnished, and a great place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised the owners had gone to such lengths to provide games, entertainment (DVDs, books, kids toys), such a well-equipped kitchen, Holland info, firewood, etc., etc. Other pluses were wireless internet, cable TV, a great beach, a fantastic shaded porch, and the list goes on... I would really recommend this home for a moderately priced, quiet, and relaxing place to stay on the lake.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our good fortune made this home available on short notice in response to our need for an alternate cottage as our previously reserved cottage was terrible. The owners are very thoughtful with attention given to every detail. (They even brought us a quart of fresh picked strawberries on our second day!) Many of the items normally missing in a short term rental were available and made our week stay at the end of June, 2011 perfect. The home is beautiful and right on the lake with a great view. Close to downtown and the beaches at Ottawa State Park and Tunnel Park was very convenient. During our week's stay we visited Grand Haven and Saugatuck which was a treat for us as out-of-staters. We would definitely recommend this vacation home and would book it again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
