The house has a large living room with a fireplace, a separate dining room, 3 rooms with 3 full bathrooms, a working/office space, a large kitchen, two roofed terraces, a brick oven, and 2 grills.
The garden is big and has many fruit trees (avocado, banana, lucuma, fig, pecan, papaya), a vegetable orchard, and a herb garden.
Have lunch under an avocado tree, get sun in a poltrona, or sit in one of the roofed terraces.
Teo a cook and cleaning lady will make your stay comfortable and delicious. Jose a part-time gardener and guardian can light the fireplace a night, and Florencio a night time guardian is available to make the best BBQ on the weekends.
They have all lived in the house for more than 20 years. They are warm, reliable and very good people.
There is mini market just 2 blocks away, and the town is 3 mins by car or 15 mins walking distance.
If you have kids, there is large plastic pool (6 feet diameter) that can be installed, and there is small wooden house that is the ideal kids playhouse.
There is Paco a brown Labrador, extremely well behaved, he doesn't jump on you, ask for food or get into the house….he doesn't even bark.
There are some geese in the entrance of the house, which keeps the house safe (they make a lot of noise when someone comes into the house).
The weather in chaclacayo is very nice, it’s dry and sunny all year round, and it’s particularly convenient when you want to get away from the cold grey winter of Lima.
There is a small super market 2 blocks away, the main town is 25mins walking distance or 5 mins by car.
In the town of Chaclacayo there is wonderful food market were you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits, and drink the best fresh juices in Lima, with all kinds of exotic fruits from Peru.
There is also a coffee place with delicious desserts, a Pizza restaurant, a Chifa (chinese restaurant),many typical peruvian restaurants (La Virgen de Chapi is recommended), and couple of big super markets.

About the owner: Last year I decided I wanted to buy a small piece of land away from the city of Lima to enjoy the country side and tranquility, but close enough to go to Lima. The second day of my search I found this amazing house, I was stunned...who wanted to sell this jewel ?? I made an offer instantly. It´s the best thing I could have done. Hopefully in a few years I will be able to retire and live there most of the time. Currently I spend most of my time away from Lima.

Its beautiful, peaceful and so close to Lima. Great place to rest, enjoy nature, relax and restore.

It's like having your own private hotel, you have people taking care of you.
I usually call in advance and tell Teo what I want to eat, and when I arrive everything is ready, I don't even have to carry my luggage out of the car. I get my newspaper daily, coffee and herbal herbal teas from the garden.
