I stayed here for seven weeks and the scenery was never tiresome. From the pool area and the balcony view from Villa six, the view was incredible. It was a very relaxing stay and the staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. They were helpful and did their best to ensure my stay was carefree. The Villas were beautiful with all the comforts of home. I was there during Hurricane Evan and was not worried about anything. The resort is very well constructed and came through the storm with no problems. Sada ensured the guests were cared for and the conveniences of home were maintained. He brought in extra staff and had the Resort back to normal in no time. I like how private it was. I very rarely noticed other guests in the resort, despite having a communal pool area. I would recommend this resort to my family and friends. When in Fiji, this is the place to stay.Owner response: Thank you very much for this kind review. It was a real pleasure to have you as our guest and staff enjoyed your company and so did I. During the cyclone you gave me lot of moral support as well as making sure the property and guests were safe and secure. Many thanks for your help. Look fwd to seeing you again at the fabulous Dreamview Villas. Sada

We stayed here as a couple in 1 villa sharing the 2 bedrooms for 5 nights. The place is absolutely stunning with modern furnishings. You get all the luxuries of modern household amenities with a view that is unbeatable. The pool is awesome, and ensures that you can keep your cool right throughout the day. It has a modern oven, microwave and dishwasher etc with glasses and mugs, plates etc to use which was awesome for us as we self catered. Communication is very important to me when planning a holiday and I got great communication from Sada and Jai both before and while staying. Satff are friendly and assist where possible, make sure you say hello to the Night shift security Nilesh - he was very hospitable and even took us through to his village wher we experienced some authentic Fiji!!! Wananavu resort lies a few minutes walk dow the hill and most of the guests there saw where we were staying and were impressed more by Dreamview. Food there is good but we heard there were no cooking facilities so therefore could not compete with Dreamview... plus the fact the we only shared the pool with 5 other villas of which at the time only had 1 other couple staying. We made ourselves at home pretty much. Our trip was mainly set up to relax and unwind, and this is certainly the place to do this. I can guaranteee you that the 2 hour trip there will be more than worth it... provided you stay long enough. I will most certainly back here if I find myself heading over the Fiji in the near future. Only 1 hiccup was a fanbelt breaking on the taxi back to the airport but Suncoast Taxis sorted the issue immediately and had a replacement taxi despatched asap and still got us to airport with plenty of time to spare. Thanks Nilesh for awesome company, thanks Sada for awesome facilities, and thanks Jai for awesome service!!! The New Zealand Crew!!!Owner response: Thank you very much for this kind review. Dreamview Villas offer a very relaxing holiday for those seeking a quiet atmosphere while feeling very much at home. It is great also for families with loads of space and a safe and secure environment. We do hope to see you again sometime. Sada

We booked two villas for our stay for 12 girls on a footy trip. It was so much better value than staying at the resort. The staff were super helpful, and cooked us an amazing Lovo one night, and drove us back and forth to Volivoli resort and wherever else we wanted to go when not simply sipping cocktails by the pool, or having massages at Wananavu Resort. We wanted to stay here hoping that it would be relatively kid free due to the distance from the main areas of the island, as we were traveling at the height of school holidays, which turned out pretty well. There was a family staying in between our two villas, who were not too happy with our noise levels (which weren't actually very bad - they were just used to having the place to themselves), but that was sorted out very professionally by the staff so that all could enjoy the rest of their planned trips as we wished. all the Jai's were amazing (there are a few of them - brothers - and they all look alike, so thankfully they have the same name so its not too confusing ! ha ha) and the rest of the staff were also very friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Would love to come and stay again.Owner response: Hi Karen, Thank you very much for the kind review. It was a pleasure to have you and your party with us for several days and I'm very happy that you found the Dreamview Villas very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff also enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you and your friends again sometime. Sada

We had family visit from Papua New Guinea and Australia, and had done the whole touristy Nadi-resort-and-island-cruise thing, and needed to unwind and recharge. We arrived 45 minutes before sundown and were treated to a spectacular sunset! The Villas are wonderfully designed and comfortable, airy and light. The views were gorgeous from every window of the 2 villas we'd booked. The kitchen had everything we needed as we preferred to self-cater (picked up supplies in Nadi). During the day the pool was hours of fun for the 6 kids (aged 6-14 years), and the surrounding areas was perfect for afternoon walks, and at night the villa proved perfect for hide & seek-in-the-dark. The number of bathrooms and the laundry was convenient for our party of 9! Tranquillity and peacefulness itself. Thank you Sada for the easy booking process, and for dealing with our various queries so promptly.Owner response: Thank you for this kind review. I am very happy to hear you and your famiy had a fabulous time at the villas. I do look forward to hosting you again sometime in the future.

I had booked for to stay at beautiful dream view villas, and unfortunately the flood hit fiji so therefore my flight was cancelled and I had to cancel my reservation. The owner was so understanding and with no hassel refunded my money. Making a reservation was simple the owner is promt at responding to your request. Unlike plantation island that took 5 days to respond to my email about my reservation. Other hotels gave me great hassel to cancel my reservation due to the disaster but dreamview are reall and has great business manor, they didnt want me to go through more than I went through already. I was returning to Fiji after 23 yrs, now will go there in couple of months will deffinately stay at dream view. Price very affordable and reasonable for its accomodation and service very promt. Thank YouOwner response: Roshni, Thank you for your kind feedback. We appreciate the great disappointment you would have gone though because of the floodings in Fiji in April and the cancellation of your long awaited trip to Fiji. The least we could have done for you is to sympathise with the situation and refund your deposit in full. Look forward to your visit in the future. Sada

We had an absolutely fantastic time. My wife and I took our two kids together with some friends who booked their own villa. We stayed for 4 nights which did not seem long enough. The villas are in great condition and are perfectly designed as a holiday home. They also have a breathtaking view of the bay. We were very well looked after by the staff there who could not do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Absolutely perfect for a getaway from the stress of city life. We strongly recommend a boat trip to Nananu-i-Ra Island- nice beach and crystal clear water.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My boyfriend and I just experienced Fiji for the first time and Dream Villas was an ideal location for us. Sada was so helpful with aranging our transfers and the staff was unbelievably accommodating. It was definately the non-resort we were looking for. Great snorkeling and unbelievable reefs right off the beaches. Supplies do need to be purchased prior to arrival in either Nadi or Rakiraki.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Hi Lauran, thank you for your kind review. I'm very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Glad you enjoyed the snorkeling. If you had more time the diving experience would have been something. Of course, fishing is another great attraction for our guests. Hope that you would visit sometime again in the future. Sada

Pictures of Property vs Actual Property: 5 of 5 Pictures accurately describe the property, which is always a worry anywhere you stay. Location: 5 of 5 It's about a 2.5 hour drive from Nadi Airport as closer to the location the Roads have been washed away and become "unsealed", basically rocky roads. Additionally, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD car unless you know how to handle a car on dirt/rocky roads, if you are renting as the VoliVoli Rd is rock/dirt and takes 15m off the main road to go 2km. We loved the location, right near 2 small islands and had a very isolated feel as far as the view went, we loved it. The Property: 4.75 of 5 It's showing a small amount of wear, with some paint pealing and the poolside chair bads were coming apart along the sides, but otherwise, no issues, these were rather cosmetic problems than anything else. The Villas: 4.5 of 5 Again an issue with the pads and our Villa had some water damage at some point as the lockable room and closet next to it smelled strongly of mold/must, but the rest of the Villa itself was wonderful. The apartment is 2 floors and nicely appointed. The outdoor shower is connected to the Master Bedroom's bathroom. State of the Villa: 4.25 of 5 Now remember this is a tropical island so you're going to have ants, they do have a spray to kill them, our Kitchen screen was ripped so we had to keep it shut at night to keep moths out, plus we did encounter a very large beige/orange centipede in our villa. Numerous gecko type lizards roaming around in and out of the apartment. Safety: 5 of 5 Security of items: 2 of 5 We had a small amenity bag stolen (WHICH the owner compensated us for), we don't believe it was their staff, but they had a small electrical team to fix a problem with our power; a learning experience for them to not allow non-employees unsupervised. Like I said it was well handled, but just as a safety keep valuables hidden or locked to be safe. Resorts: Wainanavu Resort (4 star AAA): 5 of 5 The staff was AMAZING! They remember your name, the food was UNBELIEVABLE, the resort itself is great, now there are no beaches, but a sandy ledge with chairs and hammocks. They have snorkelling right off the marina or arrange trips, truly remarkable. We cannot say enough good things about it. VoliVoli Resort (5 star): 1 of 5 We spent 10m there and left, felt like a glorifed motel, but they had a beach. Get your groceries in Nadi, not RakiRakiRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you most kindly for this review Scott. Very appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the snorkeling and neighbouring resorts. Wish you had time to do some diving as this is one of the most sought after activity for our guests. Some of the cosmetic issues raised are being taken care of. Of course, with 7 villas we have option to move guests to villas they are happy with as the case for you.

While looking for a perfect escape from reality, it was difficult to imagine exactly what this dream would form. After a short while, we found the DreamView from quite literally the other hemisphere. Upon first glance, I knew we had found paradise, but how little understated this wonder destination could have been. Upon arrival, Jai picked us up from the airport prompt. Along the way giving us an overview and local stories of the area the travel guide had given meek attention. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, shown around the resort, and taken back to the many understated beauties. The villas were in perfect condition, surrounded by what I can only hope heaven would look like. Our entire 2 weeks there, could only be surpassed with the promise of more time. Truly, DreamView has everything you look for in a 5 star resort, plus so much more, the real Fiji! I would highly encourage and recommend anyone considering a stay in Fiji to the DreamView. You will not be disappointed! To all the highly dedicated staff, Sada and your wonderful property, we will be back! Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime!Owner response: Many thanks for this kind review Ivan. I am very pleased that you and your friend thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the Dream View Villas. Staff also enjoyed your company. I am glad that you took a number of local tours and did some hiking as well. Your trip around Viti Levu was also I believe very enjoyable. Look forward to hosting you and your friends and families in the future.

The views from the villas are definitely dreamy. The villas are situated on top of a hill surrounded by sugar cane covered hills and azure ocean. I spent a week at the villas and I wish I could have stayed longer. It is extremely tranquil and away from all the hustle and bustle. Just down the hill from the villas is the Wananavu Resort where you can dive with Reef Safari. I scuba dived all over Fiji and the diving near the villas far surpasses all other locations including the Rainbow Reef and Bequ Lagoon. Thanks for the great accommodations!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

To try and put into words the place where these villas are located is generally difficult. One has to experience it to understand the peace and bliss of this place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the other major resort areas, Dreamview’s picturesque location is superb. Surrounded by the hills and the ocean there is such tranquility that time just stands still …… ….enjoying the vast ocean at the base of the hill,,, many walking tracks nearby and magnificent sunrises and sunsets! Such beauty is surely worth waking up at dawn on your holiday! My family has an amazing and purely relaxing time at Dreamview and when there all the worries of daily life was forgotten!! Hoping to return soon !!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the entire staff for the most pleasant, spectacular and breath taking holiday experience I have had in Fiji over the last 34 trips I have made there in the last 5 years. The overall experience started from initial point of enquiry where I was forwarded your email address by Jai within minutes after my telephone conversation. After sending the enquiry through to you I received a response from you within 15 minutes, including the availability and rates. Some businesses still haven't sent me there's yet. After speaking to you over the phone, I had just a had positive feeling that this trip would be the one to remember due to the high level of professionalism you showed me. On arrival we were greeted by your manager Jai who then took us for a tour. Jai showed a lot of interest in our expectations and what we felt like eating and what sorts of activities we were keen in doing. I was then greeted by Mukesh, the care taker who showed the cottage and handed the keys over to us. He already had the crab nets organised which got me even more excited. After seeing the view from the cottage I was just thrilled to be there. So peaceful and breath taking. On the first night we organised a bbq on the deck. We also considered of doing the bbq on the pier and Mukesh showed that would be the easiest part of his job to accommodate that. Very energetic and positive he was. On the following morning Mukesh's wife Shoba came over and cleaned the place for us, I asked her if she could make some roti's for us since I was considering of making some mud crab curry. She was more than happy to give us all the help she could. That night Jai also organised a lovu at a very reasonable rate. On check out Mukesh and Shoba came to say good bye and at that point I felt a little emotional as I had build a bond with these 3 lovely people you have there in such a short period of time. I would definitely recommend Dream view villas to all my colleagues, friends and family not on only for the facilities and views, also because the excellent staff you have got working there. Thumbs up for choosing the right people for this business. Once again thank you Sada for you professionalism and giving us the opportunity to share a wonderful experience with my friends. We will definitely be back there in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Sending you some pictures of us and the views Thanking you Roy PrasadRecommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I spent a week at Dreamview Villas in April, 2011. We had a wonderful time, with fabulous views (fantastic sunrises and sunsets), and great snorkeling! The unit we stayed in (the "jacuzzi suite") was very nice - clean and comfortable. The manager, on-site caretaker, and staff were also very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Plan to bring some supplies with you, or pick them up on the way to Dreamview, as it does require a car or taxi to get to the nearby town of Rakiraki. The snorkeling at the base of the hill (near the Dreamview jetty and towards the point) was very good - lots of hard & soft corals, and reef fish - and a short boat ride to the small island of Nananu-i-ra provides access to even better snorkeling areas. Diving at sites in the Bligh Water can be arranged through Ra Divers (based at the nearby Volivoli Resort, with pick-ups at Wananavu Resort which is just down the hill from Dreamview). We very much enjoyed our stay at Dreamview Villas, and definitely plan to return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at Dream View Villas, joining friends who recommended the property over the New Year's weekend. Delighted with the amenities and the peacefulness of the surroundings, the villa was clean, well appointed, and gardens meticulously groomed. The pool was heavenly, clean and refreshing. Staff were friendly and attentive when needed, but best of all was the magnificent panoramic view of the sea and offshore islands that we enjoyed from our villa. Having stayed at many resorts and hotels around Fiji - we can not recall a more breathtaking view with the surrounds we needed for a long weekend and relaxing get-away. A bonus for us was the opportunity to organize local cuisine (chicken, duck, goat curries) from a nearby local community - so delicious. We look forward to a return visit when our busy schedules permit, ensuring we have others join us for another relaxing time. Our activities off-premises included a trip into Vaileka township and a drive to the nearby Wananavu Resort, as we were more interested in just relaxing. We look forward to hearing that road works have been done to improve the approach to the property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you kindly for this review. It was a pleasure to have you and your family with us. We love to give our guests unique experiences and the fact that you thoroughly enjoyed the local cuisine tells me that other guest may also like to try these delicious home made local Indian and Fijian cuisine. Unfortunately you were unavailable for the lovo feast the following week. This was also thoroughly enjoyed by the other guests who actually participated in the actual preparation of the lovo. I suggest you google lovo and you will know all about this unique and environmentally friendly way of cooking local seafood, meat and root crops. The view as you mention is magical and this is what every guest who has been to the Villa talks about. I hope you managed to catch some of the gorgeous sunrise and sunset from your villa. It is one of the few places in the world where you get to see the sun rise and set from your bedroom!! How about star gazing? This is one place where you feel the stars are so close to you. We note your comment about the road approach to the property but I am reliably informed that this is in the Government's plan to up-grade the road shortly.

For 4 days between Christmas and New Year, 2010, 18 members of our family ranging in age from 75 to 5 enjoyed a wonderful 'home away from home' holiday at Dream View Villas. The apartments are luxurious by any standards and are complete with flat screen televisions, washing and drying facilities, kitchen utensils and crockery and a fabulous outdoor shower. The resort lives up to its name with some great views of both the interior and the coast . The resort is a good balance between having everything that you would want on holiday- pool, gym, walks, fishing and swimming spots, and at the same time to be quiet and relaxing. There are no programmed activities, so guests are free to do whatever they like from lazing about in the pool, making your own barbecue meals to having a dinner party in the function room. Dream View also made us all feel at home. The staff were friendly, efficient and happy to chat about the area or places to go and we were able to enjoy some great local curries at very reasonable prices cooked by a nearby resident. A small piece of advice for those interested in going is, particularly if you do not have a car, to remember to take your food for the stay with you as the nearest shops are a good 20-30 minutes away.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Hi Lionel, thank you for the kind review. I am very pleased that you and your extended family enjoyed your stay at our Villas. This is a great place for family get togethers and reunions. Away from it all!! Your party also did a LOVO feast I believe and staff helped out in its preparation. Those who do not know what LOVO feast is just google lovo and you will know all about it. You can do lot of activities here that you will not be able to in a hotel environment.Thank you and hope to see you and your friends again. Sada

I've stayed at Dreamview Villas twice. Both visits were with work mates during our annual office retreats. Dreamview is truly a Hidden Paradise. "Tranquil" is the perfect word to describe the location. Every villa offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and is equipped with everything you may need for a get-away. Our villas were filled to max capacity but there was hardly a need to contact the staff for additional supplies (as is a common complaint with other rentals). The villas are very comfortable and very tastefully styled. After each visit, I wanted to extend my stay just to enjoy that breathtaking view every morning! It proved to be a perfect location for an office retreat. We went on mountain hikes, swam off the jetty and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, it was so private! You can even hire a boat to take you out on a day fishing trip. I can't wait for another trip soon, this time with my family, kids included.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My time at Dreamview Villas in November was supremely relaxing and enjoyable. The pool was crystal clear, the views stunning, and the resort privileges a bonus. All furnishings were high end- granite counter tops, stainless steel applicances, etc. The villas have sunrise to sunset views. I enjoyed the time with friends sitting on the terrace. The staff is smiling and friendly. Daily maid service is such a treat in a vacation rental- we've not experienced that in the States. It's better if you have a car, as the beach is a bit of a trek to get down to. Both Wananavu and Volivoli have great facilities. Ma at Wananavu was so friendly, as was Soni at Volivoli. You come as a foreigner and leave a friend. Will be back!Owner response: Hi Todd and Bonita, It was a real pleasure to host you. I am very pleased that you thoroughly enjoyed the therapeutic magic of Dreamview Villa. This is what almost everyone says the moment they get upto the Villa. Wow, the view!! It is magical. I get the comments that this is a very different and enjoyable vacation then the usual hotel environment. Not only you enjoy the scenic beauty of the place but you also have great chance to see a little bit of what Fiji is about and the unique cultures and traditions. I heard that you also took some of the tours to the villages and other places of interest. Hope you found these interesting as well. I note your comment about a car or a cart to get to the sea and see what we can do about it. We look forward to welcoming you again to Dream View Villa. Sada

Before this trip I have never heard nor known of this Villa. When our Company planned the Retreat, honestly, I was more excited of just the thought of getting away, a break from everything. The first day and sight of this beautiful Villa just took my breath away. The name of the Villa explains itself totally but that did not mean anything to me until I was actually standing there on the hill gazing around the entire surroundings. Dreamview Villa was exactly what hit me as a dream come true. The location of where this Villa stood and its surroundings, I would describe in two words was “EXCLUSIVELY STUNNING”. I have been around Fiji to different resorts and hotels but this one place in particular was unique in so many ways, despite it being in an abandoned location. I fell in love with the place, and you know how people have said that Fiji is a beautiful place, that day, I cannot deny the fact that Fiji sure is a beautiful place, a “hidden paradise”. The Villas were built in such a way that it captured the beautiful views irrespective of which Villa you were in, and the comfort of living in the Villas was so pleasing that it felt like home but in an exotic place in isolation. The view and location of the pool was phenomenal. I vouched that one day I would return to this place again and would definitely to take my whole family to share my wonderful experience. Best Regards Julene BorgRecommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hi Julene, thank for staying with us and enjoying our great facilities. You captured the beauty of the place very well. Yes, it is magical when you get up there. This is what made me invest in this property.I knew one day this will be one of the greatest attractions for people who want to get away from the madding crowd. Look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Sada
