  Great location, very nice house great design -- Recent major remodel. Super hot tub. Problems: Poor utensils in kitchen. No regular size dinner plates, lousy silverware. Incomplete bedding for guest room, Drapes inadequate in M. bedroom. "garage sale" furniture on deck. NO cable or other TV reception...only played disks. M. Bedroom door would not latch. It was such a neat house it was sad to see it spoiled by inexpensive to fix details.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

  Very charming home in Carmel Valley. The house is spacious and was perfect for a family of four. There are several wineries within walking distance as well as a coffee house and market. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed to cook several meals. Carmel is close by as well as Cannery Row. The weather in the valley was great and often sunny when Carmel and the beach areas were covered in fog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

  We were delighted to arrive at this house after our 8 hour drive with 4 adults and our 2 furry children who are used to being with us. Our daughter's wedding and all the celebrating was just 5 minutes away and the serene setting kept us all cool and collected during our stay. The house is very comfortable and the setting is beautiful! We all had a great time!

  This was our first experience with renting a house and it was a wonderful one. The rooms were spacious and the main living area was extremely comforting. We spent most of our time (when we weren't out and about) just sitting and chatting.

  Recommended for: Families with young children.

  We had a great stay 2/13/12 to 3/11/12 All you could ask for in a home away from home... The appliances were new and the home was very clean...a great hot tub just a short distance off the rear deck..The location was wonderfull a villiage in walking distance with all anyone would need. Great resturants, Markets, Entertainment and wine shops....A small Napa valley with about 6 Wine Tasting rooms....a short ride to Carmel By The Sea allows you fantastic shopping opportunities..Carmel boasts the most beautiful beach on the central coast...as well as a golf lovers dream land...I would recomend this vacation home to all........Have a great time we surely did......

  It is so serene and private. There's is no need for any window coverings, but they do have them on the windows that count- the bathroom windows. The owners are very pleasant and easy to deal with. The house has all the amenities you need for fantastic get away, even a hot tub near the river. Location is everything and this property has it all. Very convenient to Carmel Valley Village with plenty of great shopping, lots of wine tasting rooms and many fantastic restaurants. If you want to experience the TRUE Carmel Valley with all the Valley has to offer this I would highly recommend this property!

  Very nice upgraded gated home with new hot tub. Beautiful kitchen, new washer and dryer, window views of mountains all around. Need window treatments, cable TV and gas grill instead of charcoal. Also, the wireless internet did not work and call to owner about it was not answered. Overall, very clean and quiet environment.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.
