In~-Town Executive Cottage Near Anmed, A.U. & Newspring
- Minimum stay:2 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
Our cottage is just half mile from downtown Anderson, with all it's new restaurants, shopping, wine bars, and nightlife. We're 3 blocks from Anderson University and 6 blocks from the downtown ANMED campus. This home is perfect for parents coming to visit their kids at A.U. or Clemson. It is also perfect for out of town guests coming to visit relatives and friends in Anderson. With all new appliances, beautiful oak hardwood floors, all new furniture, a 55 inch plasma t.v. with wireless broadband internet, you'll want to stay here and watch the game instead of braving the traffic. We have a fully equipped kitchen with an intimate breakfast room adjoining. But you'll quickly find that it's more fun to eat on the screened porch that adjoins the breakfast area. The beautiful stone fireplace has been fitted with expensive gas logs, so you don't have to mess with wood, kindling and the like. The master bedroom is huge, with a 'sleeping porch' adjoining. The master bath includes a huge shower and double vanity sinks. The downstairs has a complete kitchen, two queen sized beds (one mattress and springs, the other a luxury queen sized air mattress. There's a bath and shower, covered porch, and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
This is a 'rebuilt from the studs' home that was completed in September of 2010. It feels brand new. It is rented with linens. You can barely stay at the Holiday Inn for what we charge.

This place is like a home away from home. Kitchen was so well equipped that we prepared all our meals but two during our ten day stay. The yard is a haven for bird watchers which one can do very well while enjoying the front screened in porch. Since it was winter, the gas log fireplace was great to have at breakfast time and late evening. The house is very light and spacious inside. The home owner was very easy and accommodating to work with. There are plenty of outdoor activities for nature lovers within an hour's radius. Also for the shopper, there are the quaint downtown areas of Anderson, Pendleton and Seneca with their art galleries, craft shops and antique stores.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

Recently rented this beautiful home for a 1st year birthday for our granddaughter and Clemson tailgate weekend. We absolutely loved it and could not have asked for anything more except more time there. It had everything you could ask for and everything was the best quality. I would have loved to move it back up to Richmond with me as it would be the oerfect retirement home. Thnks you for thinking of everything to make our stay memorable. Highly reccomend a stay here.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

This is our third time at the cottage. Walking into this beautiful home is so comforting. We started coming as parents and now we are grandparents and the grandkids love running around the property and walking on the bridge looking at the stream. The screened porch overlooking the property, great spot for morning coffee. It's the best!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, sightseeing.

We discovered this gem of a property while looking for a place to stay for a family reunion in Anderson. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the house is a true treasure. We found the porches to be a wonderful way to relax and commune with nature- especially in the mornings with a cup of coffee! The house itself is open and airy with an abundance of room. What we experienced is a beautifully appointed, secluded country home in the middle of Anderson. We wish to thank the owners for sharing their home with us, and making our stay in Anderson and our family reunion even more enjoyable. This house is truly remarkable! It sits on a gorgeous piece of property where wildlife abounds. The interior is just beautiful. Every room is beautifully decorated. the master suite is simply stunning. It reminds me of a spa setting. All the appliances are top of the line. I came here to see my son who attends Anderson University. The campus is only three blocks away. Clemson is very close, also. Downtown Anderson is just a few minutes away. Everything you need is minutes from the house. Loved the home!!I I would definately come back again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks Linda. We try hard! Hope you can stay with us again. Regi and Miriam Campbell

We stayed here over Thanksgiving, while visiting family. The house is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. All the attention to detail made this a much better choice than a hotel. The secluded wooded lot, and the view from the porches was amazing and so peaceful. We were minutes from all of the shopping and restaurants in town. Everyone had a comfortable room and bed. The chefs kitchen was great for cooking. Football games and movies were awesome on the large flatscreen. We were so blessed to find this place. Regi was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you Regi for making our Thanksgiving one we will never forget!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Just spent the weekend at "The Cottage" and didn't want to leave on Sunday. Regi was easy to work with and the house was everything it was described as plus more. We were down for a Clemson football game with our two kids and our expectations were exceeded. We hope to come back next football season for sure...if its available. Once this "cottage" is discovered, it will stay booked year round!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.
