If you want to get away from it all in a luxurious villa on a private island, come to Shelter Cove Villas, where the owners, The Birds, have lived since the mid-70's. Enter our beautiful, newly-renovated, newly-furnished, water-front villa on the private island of Seabrook and leave all your cares behind.

Newly renovated in the fall of 2003, our split-level villa overlooks the river and marsh and boasts breathtaking sunsets from both the upper and lower deck. This spacious and sunny 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath villa can sleep up to 4 people. The foyer and hallways are done in a beautiful ceramic tile. The walls are painted a warm yellow.

On the first floor, the master bedroom with adjoining bath has a lovely queen size bed and TV. From your bedroom you can step out on to the ground level deck and immediately access the crabbing dock behind the property. On the second floor, the guest bedroom contains a full size bed and adjoining bath. On the third floor, the living room is luxuriously furnished and includes a TV/DVD/CD player with surround sound. From the living room you can access the upper balcony which offers a panoramic river view. Here you can dine or just relax. On the fourth floor, you will find a half bath, dining area and kitchen with brand-new modern appliances.

After a five-minute drive you can find yourself on a secluded private beach rated one of the top ten beaches in the USA. Here you can enjoy various water sports and view dolphins swimming just a few yards from you!

The swimming pool is a mere 100 yards from the villa.

On Seabrook Island you may enjoy various outdoor sports including swimming and horseriding. On the neighboring Kiawah Island, you may play tennis and golf. Bohicket Marina is a two minute drive and provides access to boats, restaurants and shops. A grocery store and bank are also conveniently located. A 30 minute drive can take you to historic Charleston where you can shop, dine or sightsee at your leisure.
