The chalet has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms on a plot of 1090 m2 in walking distance from the town of Villars (0.8 miles). This sunny chalet has large sunny terraces.The house is almost at the skislope 0.1 mile. Hiking trails start right from the house. The large garden is a nice playground for children in the summer.From the terrace the Dents de Midi and the Mont Blanc can be seen The scenery is just spectacular; even by night when the sky is clear.Apart for the one car garage there is ample parking space (5 cars). After entering the house through the hallway on the right one enters the master suite with bathroom en suite (totally 22 m2). At the leftside of the hallway is an extra bathroom. The Hallway ends in the large living with spectacular view. The cozy living has a fireplays and can easily entertain 10 people. Annexe is the ding area and teh open kitchen with all amineties. On the other side of the living is the study (TV room). The stairways leads to the upperfloor with three large bedroom (all about 18m2). One bedroom has a bathroom en suite. An extra bathroom with jacuzzi complets this floof. Two bedrooms have doors to the balcony. From these bedrooms the scenery is again spectacular. From the groundfloor a stairway leads to the base ment with an entrance to the garage a storage room, a laundry room and a large studio (21 m2) . There is also a bathroom in the basement. he total surface area of the chalet is over 275 m2 away.

About the owner: We are a family of six I am an emeritus professor of medicine and my wife is also a medical microbiologists. We are fond of the mountains be it the spring, the summer, fall or winter. every season comes with its unique flavors. We love to ski. We love to have the family around. We love to enjoy the scenery and the hiking and biking. We love the outdoors and the culture not to far away.
Why the Owner Chose Villars-sur-Ollon:
We travelled that summer of 1998 from Spain to Switzerland. the road from the valley up to Villars is just spectacular.First through the wineries and the forest and the villages. We were immediately taken. This was Switzerland at its best! We bought a plot were the children could play (not to steep) with a spectacular scenery. We build the house with ample space for 10. We wanted that our family could also entertain guests in a way that everybody still had space enough. We wanted to be in a village which was lively all year elegant but not snobbish.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
The situation close to the mountains and the slopes the village. The village is not an high alpine resort which is closed for the whole year except the winter. No Villas is an ideal spot (what comes to mind if one thinks about a Swiss village). The house is luxurious but with style nothing is over the top but everything is convenient; whether one likes to read a book in the evening or play a game together this place is ideal. Everybody immediately finds his or her place: an ideal family home with all the comfort a top end visitor expects
