Margate Tower is a direct oceanfront condo with over 3000 sq ft of space. This gorgeous 3 bedroom 3 bath condo is located on the 6th floor, with a spectacular view of the ocean from the balcony. Margate has only 9 units per floor, with carpeted, interior corridors, resembling the finest hotels , and features the best of the best in decor and design.
The 145-acre resort, features 10 pools, one oceanfront with cascading water-wall, hot tubs, snack bar (in season) & lakes, with tropical plantings throughout.
Upon entering the double doors to this magnificent condo, you find a gourmet kitchen, with a large granite breakfast bar with seating for 4 + dining table for 6. It is a fully equipped for cooking & dining in, with an abundance of dinner ware, wine glasses, and cook ware. A wine cave, is a nice addition for your beverages, and there are all hi-line, full sized appliances, throughout, including trash compactor.
Living room has a leather sectional and a hidden flat screen TV in the entertainment unit, ( 5 flat screen TV's total in condo). A separate laundry room with access from the hallway, acts as a 'sand' room off the main living area of the condo. Plantation shutters let in the sunlight and ocean view from every room.
Beautifully furnished, Master Br 1 has 1 King pillow-topped (sleigh) bed, with flat screen TV, DVD, VCR. The huge master bath adjoins with jetted tub, double granite sink, separate over-sized shower.
The 2nd BR has 1 King 4 poster bed, flat screen TV; Full bath with huge tub, shower, and granite counters.
The 3rd BR has 1 Queen pillow-topped bed, flat screen TV and great furnishings as well. Full bathroom has shower (without tub).
The den adds more seating with a sleeper sofa, and a flat screen TV. It creates another room for watching movies, while the adults use the living room.
The outdoor balcony offers sweeping view of the beach and ocean and is furnished with a hi-top table and 4 chairs, as well as 4 additional chairs and end table.
You will create magical memories here at Margate, and we know you'll enjoy our condo as much as we do.
You are located mid-point between North Myrtle Beach & Myrtle Beach proper, giving you many venues for entertainment such as Broadway at the Beach. New in 2011 is WonderWorks, the upside down house, Zip line, are only a few new attractions; Ripley's Aquarium is a favorite and Broadway has over 150 shops, restaurants, and attractions for all ages.
Barefoot Landing is only 15 minutes North of Margate, and you may enjoy many evenings strolling through the shops, and restaurants, feeding the fish & ducks, and then to the Alabama Theatre for the best live entertainment at the beach.

Do not let any previous reviews detour you from staying at this property. The site is so secure and we always felt so safe!!! The condo is the perfect setting with ample space for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The decor was perfection and so tastefully put together. The oceanviews are amazing. We especially enjoyed seeing the pier and the campground next door and thought this was a bonus view. So if you are planning a trip don't hesitate! We will be back!!!! Oh yes, the umbrella rental provided was the cherry on top to this perfect vacation! Thanks!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

Overall, it's a very nice condo with spaceous rooms and nice luxury interior. The only complaint I had was that the description of the condo is misleading.... It's NOT Oceanfront. Perhaps you can call it ocean view as it has a side view from the balcony and master bedroom. The rest of the rooms are faced away from the ocean and look at the trailer park. I called VRBO office and the only thibg they could really say was that this is the only condo they have available and it is the best they have... quite lame of an explanation if you ask me.. The owners / VRBO need to change the title of this posting !Owner response: An oceanfront condo is one that has no other buildings in front of it; and Margate Tower does sit directly on the oceanfront. This condo has an SLIGHT side oceanview of the beach. From the balcony, which wraps around it, you can see the Apache Pier, and Apache Campground ( it is NOT a trailer park). The views of the beach are expansive and beautiful. To respond to the comment from this renter; it is the only condo that we have in the Margate Tower, so we could not offer him a "better view" from another. It is a superb, spacious condo, beautifully decorated, and all of the other renters have been very pleased with it. *** Please click on the virtual tour, which captures the beauty of this property.
