What better way to enjoy the myriad sights and delights of Rome than from a comfortable apartment in the historic center? Being on the fifth floor lifts you above a good deal of the street noise, and any that might be left is a small price to pay for being in the center of Rome itself, literally walking distance from the Tiber river and some of the best destinations in the city. This apartment is located in a historic 18th century building served by an elevator. The building dates back to medieval times, with its foundations on the walls of Pompey's theatre, however the building was totally restored in 1996. The narrow streets around Piazza Campo de' Fiori contain simple houses and austerely noble palaces standing side by side in quiet harmony. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable market every morning in the Piazza. (90 m2/968 ft2) This apartment is on two levels. Fifth Floor (with elevator): The living room of this apartment contains a satellite TV, telephone, and two sofas, one of which opens into a sofa-bed sleeping one. It also has access to a terrace with beautiful views, equipped with a large table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, American coffee maker, and a dining table with seating for six. There are two bedrooms on the fifth floor: the first has a king-size (180 cm) bed and a large wardrobe. The second room has two single beds. There are also two bathrooms; one with sink, shower, and toilet, and the other with sink, toilet, and bathtub with handheld shower head. Sixth Floor: A third bedroom is located upstairs. It has one single bed and access to the second terrace, with 360 degree views over the rooftops of Rome. Please Note: All of the "Campo dei Fiori" apartments are located in the same building and can be rented together to accommodate larger groups: #16318
