The property is located three kilometers from the nearest town of Pietrasanta. This medieval town not only has shops, restaurants, and markets, but is also known for its art galleries. Michelangelo himself used white marble from the quarries around this area. The main sites include the Piazza Duomo, the Collegiata of San Martino (which was built in the 14th century), and the Church of Sant’Agostino. Just 12 kilometers away is Viareggio, a beautiful seaside city dating back to the 3rd century BC. Not only does Viareggio have amazing beaches, but it’s also known for its annual Carnival, which is celebrated with parades, floats, and parties. This event usually occurs each February.
