This Provencal rental accommodation is made up of the main house and a guest cottage, both of which have pools. And having a village within walking distance – to pick up fresh bread at the local boulangerie, perhaps? - is hard to beat… Of course, the sites of the region are within easy day trip distance. (3300m2) The farmhouse, built on a foundation dating back to Roman times, is a three-level stone building with blue wooden shutters. There is a small cottage for two with independent access and a small private swimming pool (4.5m in diameter). The main garden is filled with lavender, rose bushes, olive, laurel and pine trees. It has a large circular pool that is 10 meters in diameter. It is unheated and is open for use from the beginning of April through the month of October. There is a smaller enclosed courtyard in front of the house and a large terrace. The terrace is fully furnished and can seat 22 people for al fresco dining. It has a barbeque. There is enclosed parking for up to 8 cars. (500 m2) The property is a typical Provencal farmhouse which has been furnished with 21st century conveniences. It has an alarm system and a heater in every room. Some of the ceilings are arched or have exposed wood beams and some of the walls are exposed stone. Farmhouse Ground Floor: A large part of the ground level of the house is taken up by a very spacious vaulted living room and dining room. It has been tastefully decorated with antiques. Although it is well lit, the room retains its old-home character. In the summer, it is the perfect place to cool off from the hot sun. It also opens onto the private gardens and onto the terrace. The dining room, connected to the living room, was once the stables, and is now the perfect place to share a meal with family and friends. The dining room can seat up to 19 people around its large tables. The Provencal kitchen has a wooden breakfast table perfect for morning coffee. It is very well equipped with cook top, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. There is a guest bathroom on the ground floor. First Floor: The staircase in the entrance hall leads up to the first floor (15 steps). All of the bedrooms have windows which open onto the garden. There are views to the castle in the village, vineyards around the property and even a view to Mt. Ventoux. The following five double bedrooms can be either made up as queen-size beds (160 cm mattress size) or twin-bedded (80 cm mattress size). They each have ensuite bathrooms. One bathroom has both a tub and shower; one bathroom has just a shower; one bathroom has a Jacuzzi; two bathrooms have a bathtub. There is a sixth bedroom on the first floor. It has two twin-beds (80 cm mattress size) more suitable for children and a staircase that goes up to the second floor. Second Floor: The second floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom with tub. The first bedroom has a queen-size (160 cm mattress) bed. The second bedroom has three narrow twin (80 cm mattress) beds. These twin-beds are more suitable for children. Cottage (25 m2) The cottage is located in the garden area. It has a queen-size (160 cm mattress) bed and a bathroom with tub and shower. The private bathroom has a Jacuzzi, as well. The cottage has its own private swimming pool and private access from the parking area.
