  We stayed for ten day in this condo and it was just beautiful. You can watch the wales when they pass by and the sunset view is also spectacular. We also liked the extras like beach towels and chairs. The condo is located close enough to the next supermarket but also far enough from places where it's too busy, i.e. noisy. We had a perfect vacation on Maui.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

  We stayed at this condo for a wedding and it was amazing!!! The view is breathtaking. It was so wonderful having coffee in the morning on the lanai looking at the ocean. The place is amazing. The bed was very comfortable and our friend who stayed with us said the hideabed was very comfortable. Other people who were there for the wedding rented directly from the condo management and their condos were not as nice or clean. The gpool and hot tub area of the condo complex was amazing and it has a full kitchen and BBQ set up. I highly recommend renting this condo!

  Just completed 5 wonderful weeks at this very nice condo. The newly remodelled condo provided us with all we needed during our stay plus being on the ground floor and with the keyless entry made the well groomed grounds and pool area very accessable without going up and down stairs or worrying about a key. The view from the lanai was great for enjoying your morning Kona coffee while watching the whales or enjoying the unforgetable sunsets. The owners Gayle and Frank are very accomodating and very easy to deal with making every effort to ensure your visit at their Maui condo is enjoyable and goes smoothly. We would highly recommend this condo and plan on returning again next January. Thank you Gayle and Frank for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful Maui condo. Mahalo Ken and Gail Ontario Canada

Having a groundfloor, corner unit with extra windows not next to another buidling makes for more privacy but still have the ammenities of the entire complex. Very much appreciate your review.   This condo is situated ideally for great sunset views and morning jogs along the beach. Easy access to all the island has to offer, with a great setting to grill and enjoy an evening glass of wine. Property is quiet and relaxed. Great snorkeling and kayaks minutes away. Ocean views without the crowds. Thank you, Gayle and Frank, for a lovely home away from home.

  Aloha Gayle Ariived safe a little late as we were delayed in Toronto due to snow but got to the Condo. Everything is great you have certainly done a fine job with this condo as I had seen it before you owned it the keyless entry is great no worry about keys, just sitting here on the lanai having a cold drink and enjoying the beautiful view. Thaank you again for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful maui home we will certainly be back. We certainly hope you had a great Christmas and all the best going into the New Year. Mahalo Ken & Gail

  The condo is in a great location with easy access to the beach. The view from the lanai afforded us to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. The condo has great amenities. We enjoyed the pool area and took advantage of the BBQs for wonderful meals. I looked forward to our morning coffee on the lanai. We were very impressed with the new upgrades such as the granite countertops and appliances as well as the new furniture. Thank you Gayle and Frank for a wonderful, memorable vacation. We look forward to enjoying many more in the near future. Also, thank you for the referral of Kihei Car Rental. They took very good care of us.

  Being an active middle aged couple traveling without children, we we're looking for a ground floor unit with an ocean view . We wanted to be close to the ocean and see the ocean from the condo. We found much more than at unit D101 Luana Kai. A ground floor corner unit. The unit is completely remodeled and very clean. The location at the end if the D building offers privacy and lots of morning to midday shade. There are high speed ceiling fans and several extra windows on the south side which help provide natural cooling without the need for air-conditioning. The grounds at Luana Kai are well kept. The pool, hot-tub and community grills are wonderful. Of course, every night was a spectacular sunset right from the Living Room/kitchen, lanai or the few steps to the sandy beach...... We also enjoyed the central location of the condo. Try Cafe O Lei Restaurant for lunch or dinner.... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the rates we're reasonable and fair. We'll be back.....

  We were lucky enough to stay at this wonderful condo for a week! It has a beautiful view of the ocean and we enjoyed stunning sunsets sitting on the lanai. It is in a perfect location in the complex, with alot of privacy and very little noise from neighbors. It is also centrally located in Kihei and an easy drive to all parts of the island. We would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family and hope to stay there again!

  This condo was in a great location in the complex- private, quiet. Condo has all ammenties of a home. Ground floor corner unit has extra windows. Great views of ocean. Steps away from tennis courts, beach and great sunsets every night. Front desk very helpful and the Luana Kai is centrally located to everything in Maui. I would recommend this unit for a couple or a couple with a small child. Owner extremely helpful and easy to work with.

There is NO A/C in this unit. D101 is a corner unit and has several side windows that create a nice breeze throughout the unit. There is a ceiling fan in the Bedroom and Living Room
