Our family came for a birthday celebration. The balloons and cards were such an unexpected surprise. Everything is state-of-the-art, so beautiful and well kept. The views are breathtaking and provided so much peace and relaxation. The owners are great to work with. Everything far exceeded our expectations. The only problem we had was that we couldn't stay longer. We look forward to our next visit at this magnificent house and location.

This house is absolutely the best of the comforts of home! This was our 2nd time staying and it never disappoints. The owners are so easy to work with and so very kind! We celebrated my husbands 40th Birthday with friends for the weekend and when we arrived they had balloons and a card waiting for him. Can't wait to return!

The only problem we had was that we could not stay longer. The house and owner made us feel very welcomed and we had everything we needed. We are already planning a return trip!

Friends & family trip to this house on Lake Wateree was fantastic! It was mid-March 2013, so the weather was cool and drizzly, but the house had all the creature comforts. Would go back in a heartbeat and in fact we are already looking at next year's trip and renting the same place. Pictures, descriptions, etc were spot-on. The owners were accessible via email almost immediately with any questions we had and I would definitely recommend this property!

We had the family together to celebrate my sister in laws 70th birthday. Upon arrival my sister in law was surprised by the balloons and card that home owners had waiting for her. This made it even more of a special occasion. We had people from ages 24 to 70 and there was something for every age group to enjoy. From the foosball to the fire pit the pool table and the beautiful view from all levels, we couldn't have asked for a better place to have our celebration. We look forward to planning another event there in the future.

We rented this beautiful Lake Wateree home in January 2013 and it was a great way to start the New Year! We were celebrating the 90th birthday of our grandmother in Camden. We were looking for a place that was large enough for our teenage sons and their cousins to be able to just hang out and all of us relax not feel too crowded. It was well worth the drive back and forth to Camden! The home was beautiful, and you felt immediately relaxed looking out on the lake. Our teens hit the pool table as soon as we walked in. The owner also allowed us to bring our shih tzu dog, Max, at the last minute, which was very helpful. The home was clean; and I do mean spotless. It was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. It looked just like the photos. The elevator was great for taking the suitcases up and down from the ground floor! We enjoyed a glass of complimentary wine looking on the balcony enjoying the sunset. The boys and their cousins had fun making s'mores by the campfire. After a full day of celebrating their great grandmother's birthday, meeting lots of relatives and adults, and being on their best behavior, what a great place for them to relax and unwind! This was the best decision we made for this trip. Having teens, it was wonderful to have enough room for everyone to stretch out and not feel crowded. This made the trip a lot less stressful for everyone. The master suite was gorgeous, and waking up to a view of the lake was a great treat. I would defiantly recommend this home to anyone looking for a get away at Lake Wateree! I would especially recommend this for families with older kids, teens, or larger families. I hope we can return when we have more time to enjoy the lake!

We came to Lake Wateree to attend our son's wedding in Camden. We had a party of eight including our eldest member 92 years young. This place met every possible need. Equiped with an elevatior to haul luggage and packages up two the upper two floors. It is tastefully decorated and the views of the lake are fantastic. It is located right across the street from the state park. We enjoyed numerous walks in the surrounding countryside. If you are a fisherman the bridge is only a short walk away. The owner was extremely nice and was clear in every detail of what we could expect during our stay. Everyone commented at how perfect the house was. Nothing but praises for this house and surroundings. If you can rent it and have the need I suggest scratching that itch!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! The view was wonderful and relaxing...Enjoyed sitting out on the balconey drinking coffee in the morning and seeing all the wild life. Planning another trip next year!!.Have recomended it to my neighbors....

Great Family Vacation on Lake Wateree

We just finished our one week stay at this house. There were 5 adults and 3 children. We had plenty of space and lots of fun things to do in addition to the lake - cornhole, pool table, air hockey, wii, many tv's and movies, The house is on a great part of Lake Wateree - it's a calm small area that's perfect for water activities but also close to big water and the state park if you prefer. There are also good bed and room arrangements for large families. The house is clean and modern - good furniture, beds, appliances, etc. And the elevator was a huge help moving in groceries and luggage. We met the owners when we arrived and they were very nice and helpful. They provide alot to make the stay easy - local area information, maps, tv instructions, etc. We are already talking about another stay and would recommend this property to everyone.

A Serene Peaceful to Be with Friends and Family

The house was a lovely quiet place to spend my vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone to have alone time for a nap or to read; and then was the huge open great room and kitchen area for big gatherings and cooking together. There views were so beautiful. The Stacy's had left notes and instructions around the house. I appreciated not having to figure out how to turn on the TV or how to operate the elevator. This eased my transition into relaxation. Thanks so much for letting us stay there.

Perfect Family Vacation......... Second Stay Just As Great As The First !!!!

Our family has rented several vacation homes on VRBO, and this beautiful lake home is one of our favorites. Our adult children joined us for a week stay last summer and we enjoyed every minute of it. With the exception of having difficulty finding a pontoon boat to rent anywhere nearby on the lake, everything was perfect. With the game room on the first floor, the nice dock and swimming area , the state park across the street, and a new and well-stocked kitchen, there was plenty to keep all ages busy and enjoying the time together. Because of the convenient location, we were even able to take in a day at Carowinds late in the week.Now we have recently returned from a long weekend with close friends. It was plenty of room for the ten of us. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, fishing, riding bikes at the state park, and just generally kicking back and relaxing. We had a few very competitive rounds of "corn-hole" and really enjoyed sitting around the fire after dark. I might add that we even enjoyed the thunderstorm that blew in late one afternoon. Standing on the deck watching the sheets of rain on the lake was really awesome. The owners thought of just about everything, including firewood and a starter log as well as games and floats for the lake. One of the owners lives next door and he loaned one of my sons his longboard so he could keep up with his brother over on the hills at the park. In addition, the owners have been extremely professional and easy to work with for both stays. They were always quick to communicate, were flexible with our arrival and departure times whenever possible, and were very timely in refunding our security deposit. Based on the two stays that we have had during this past year, we would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation at the lake!!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The pictures say it all. Truly beautiful. Terri is such a pleasure to work with. No one wanted to leave. The owners have thought of everything. You will feel at home here. I would recommend this prpperty to any one that needs some fun and R & R.

The place was beautiful !! We went for a weekend with 2 other couples and had a great time. We could not have asked for a more beautiful house. Teri was a pleasure to work with. This house would be great for big family reunions or several couples just wanting to get away!!!!!!

Our trip was an all mens trip to let out some steam at Carolina Cycle World which is approximately 10 miles away. The house is wonderderful and perfectly set up for our trip. The open family room and well equipped kitchen was awesome. The owners are easy to work with and check in was a breeze. The owners of this property really go the extra mile to add those touches that make your stay memorable. Definitely a great house for family vacations or just a getaway with friends!

Christmas on the lake

I spent a wonderful Christmas and New Years at the Wateree Lake. We were 5 adults and one 3 year old. We were so lucky to have such great warm weather for December. We all found something we really enjoyed doing around the house, from the games to the kitchen. There was enough to do to keep even a 3 year old entertained. I appreciated the decorations, it felt like being home for the holidays. The neighbors were friendly and informative. Mark came over to welcome us and let us know he was there if we needed anything. I am from Camden and was not familiar with Winnsboro or Ridgeway. I enjoyed discovering the area. The Wateree State park was a nice walk to make up for all the holiday indulging. The best part personally for our family was being able to have our beloved dog with us. She didnt mind being left on the first floor because we all eventually ended up in that part of the house anyway. Thank you Terri and Shawn. I will definitely be back!!

We had a such wonderful weekend.The house was even better than we expected.Renting the house was made so easy by the owners.The game room was so much fun.Relaxing on the balcony and sitting around the fire pit was awesome.We savored every moment!Will defintely try to come back and would recommend this fantastic lake home to everyone.

Smokin' Hot Lake House!

my boyfriend and I celebrated our birthdays at this lake house along with another adult couple. Although the weather turned too cold to enjoy the water, we loved the fall like atmosphere as we took a two mile walk to the nearby state park and sat around the fire pit in the back yard. The weekend was very relaxing and we will definitely be back! We have rented several houses on Lake Wateree and this house is one of the nicest available for rent with many upgrades. The owners are easy to to work with as well, allowing us to check in a little early. Overall, we made great memories!

My wife and I, along with other adult couples thoroughly enjoyed the house...the location was awesome! The House is looks exactly as in the photos. We had a boat and the dock at the house was great. It was also convenient to have a boat ramp and store a 100 yards away. The house is so spacious, there is plenty of room on all floors. The view is grand over looking the lake. The state park is located just across the street, a great place to take a walk or bike ride. We loved sitting out on the sand lounging area at night with all the tiki torches. It was a bit warm for a fire, but the fire pit is set up great. The owners are super to deal with and have supplied this property inside and out with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Pictures can't show how beautiful this home is. Our group included 4 adults and 6 teenagers (yes 6) and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen has everything you can imagine so you don't need to bring anything. The bed linens are even labled to the specific bed, great idea. We knocked back a few brews (crown royal for me) and solved all the worlds problems at the fire pit so plan on spending a lot of time there it was great. The owners are very easy to work with and we had no issues at all. Place is too beautiful to leave a mess so leave it the way you checked in.

Our family rented this home in July and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The house and the view are absolutely beautiful, just like in the pictures. It is very clean and like new. All you really need to bring is your bathing suit and groceries. We planned other activities while there, but were having too much fun to leave. There is a nice private dock for fishing and a place to tie up your boat.There is an awesome game room for the kid, Wi-Fi and TV's everywhere. Also the kitchen is furnished with everything you need and more. Even our dog had a place to stay. The owners are extremely nice and our security deposit was returned promptly. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to rent again in the future! Thanks!!!

My family and friends just had a wonderful weekend getaway at this house. It was luxurious and had everything we needed and wanted. It's a kid and pet friendly place. This rental is brand new and just as described on VRBO. The sunsets from the balcony are beautiful. The lake setting is very relaxing while at the same time offering all of the fun water activities right outside of your door. We really enjoyed the fire pit and grill in the yard overlooking the lake. There are tv's in every room and the house is large enough to fit a large group comfortably. The elevator was great for getting our stuff upstairs and for people who have a hard time with steps (or those who just don't want to walk up :). It was very clean and well kept and the kitchen is well stocked. The marina is just a few doors down and has a small store to buy things that you might have forgotten - it also has a grill where you can get sandwiches and ice cream. There are a few restaurants on the lake a short boat ride away. We had a wonderful time and so did our dog - we will definately go back!
