Wander through town and dine in one of the local restaurants or browse through the interesting shops and stores. Stop by the town lobster co-op and pick up dinner and watch as the lobstermen come back from hauling and unload their catch.
There is a playground and lovely views of Carvers Harbor on Ambrust Hill, which is located behind the house. Guests can bike or take a short walk to Lanes Island Preserve or to one of the many fresh water swimming quarries. Visit the Historical Society and learn more about Vinalhaven and its history.
Hit the hiking trails, take a swim, or maybe a quick boat ride to North Haven to play a round of golf on one of Maine's most beautiful nine hole golf courses.
