Sevierville cabin description
This is our personal vacation home, so you will find it fully equipped for your perfect honeymoon, romantic getaway, small family retreat, or just a relaxing time away. The spacious authentic log cabin with all the modern conveniences is perfect for relaxing, renewing, and exploring.
If you are an early bird, the deep porch with its rockers and swing is perfect for drinking morning coffee while you listen to the birds as Nature’s Woods comes alive when the sun comes up around you. You may choose to relax there on the porch in the afternoon with a glass of iced tea while you decide what adventure to pursue next. There’s plenty to do in the “Smokies”! Maybe you’ve been going all day long and now it’s time to relax on the porch for evening wine while you enjoy the peaceful woodland setting.
Perhaps, like us, you’re coming back to renew fond memories of new love, new beauty, and new relations. The people in the counties around the Smokies are happy and helpful. Maybe you will renew an acquaintance with a crafter, candle maker, broom maker, or restaurateur. Or perhaps it’s the trolley ride that will bring back those loving feelings or precious memories. For you it may be seeing that black bear, covey of turkey, Cades Cove, or Clingman’s Dome, the sheer beauty of the mountains. Whatever draws you back, to that special time that keeps you coming back, at Nature’s Woods you’ll have no problem finding renewal.
If Louis and Clark are in your blood you may find yourself hiking the mountains to see that spectacular waterfall in a peaceful quiet setting. Or maybe your exploring is more aquatic and white water rafting is your excitement, there are plenty of places here for rafting, as well as, kayaking. Some of you may prefer to explore the front nine of one of the challenging golf courses in the area, while the spouse explores the shopping available at one of the many outlet malls in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, not to mention the shops of Gatlinburg. For the more tame, exploring may be time spent in Dollywood or Splash Mountain, the Titanic Museum, the car museums, one of the Dinner Theaters where laughs abound, or the Miracle Theater.
After your day, whether exploring, renewing, or even relaxing, enjoy a soothing time in your private hot tub while your steak is grilling on the gas grill. Both the hot tub and grill share a private screen porch with a table for two (or four).
Inside, take time to enjoy the stacked stone gas fireplace, the big-screen TV (50”-perfect for the games), a queen sleeper sofa, cabin chair, with a dining area for four in the great room-kitchen combination all large enough for you to stretch out and be comfortable. The large bedroom boasts a full king bed with room to spare. There are board games and books (if not removed by others) to fill those times when you just want to hangout. There is a romantic two person whirlpool to both relax and play, but if you just want to get clean there is a stand-alone shower, too.
The cabin is completely furnished with all full-size electric appliances, (oven/stove, refrigerator w/ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer). All dishes, glasses, flatware, pots and pans, and linens are included.
Come experience the Smoky Mountain area the way you dreamed – in a spacious, romantic cabin convenient to the attractions, but secluded enough to feel in Nature’s Woods.

Much needed relaxation.
Much needed relaxation.
Great stay. Warm and cozy. Great hot tub. Kitchen had everything I needed. TV was a little confusing at first and they DO NOT have full cable. Bring movies from home. Still it was beautiful and very clean. I loved the bear over the wall. Thanks for your prayers and wonderful cabin!

The cabin was very clean and the location is great. This is the second time we're stayed there and hope to return next year. The TV is very confusing and we could only get channel 3 to work. It would be nice if the TV directions could be updated so 'old people' could understand. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Owner response: People who didn't have to undergo the digital conversion seem to have a problem with the TV controls. Our plan was to update the TV this year but the hot tub took the funds designated for that. Hopefully, before long, we will be able to get a new flat panel and alleviate the controls confusion. Glad you had a good stay otherwise. Thanks for coming back, look forward to having you back-next time you book remind me that you are a returning guest.
Very nice quiet cabin
Very nice quiet cabin
The cabin was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is very close to the "tourist attractions" but far enough away to be very quiet. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Better than advertised
Better than advertised
This cabin is better than advertised in every way. It's only one bedroom, but the place is well outfitted with everything. This one is going on our short list of places to stay again.

Owner response: We are really glad you had a great stay at Nature's Woods Cabin. Most of the people we rent to keep up the cabin and do not remove items when they depart, that allows us to place instruments that are more like we use at home. Hopefully, others find them helpful in preparing and serving meals. We tried to leave good storage containers but they just don't stay, go figure. Anyway, be glad to have you back!
This was the perfect cabin for my wife and I. We arrived to find the cabin was very clean and neat. The location is just north of the busy Gatlinburg hustle. We loved the full kitchen and cooked dinner every night and used the hot tub and grill in the screened in porch. A BIG bonus was having the washer and dryer in the cabin- we did some laundry before we left and did not have to haul smelly clothes back to Chicago. I highly recommend this cabin, the owner was very quick to respond to me, when I had a question about the wifi. Everything was great we will be back. Cheers!

Owner response: I am glad to hear people actually cook while staying in the cabin. We try to keep cookware that facilitates home cooking, it gets hard when all the pieces don't remain. We are glad to hear you used the BBQ, I love to cook on the grill. Thrilled you had a good stay, you are welcome back anytime.
Had a wonderful stay, everything was clean and neat! This is actually better than we expected for the price! Although it rained all week, we still had a good time and enjoyed the cool (JULY!!!) nights in the hot tub. Would highly recommend to couples and small families!

Owner response: Sorry for the rain, out of our control, TN sure doesn't need it this year. Don't you just love the way it cools down at night in the mountains, we don't get that in FL.
Perfect little get away!
Perfect little get away!
This cabin is beautiful, it is just the perfect size for my husband and I!! The first night it rained and the sound on the metal roof was so relaxing to fall asleep to! They had the cutest little touches, such as the frog towel! This location is perfect, not far from pigeon forge at all yet far enough to be away from the crowd! Next time we head that way we will keep this cabin in mind for sure!

Owner response: It must be a girl thing, my wife absolutely loves when it rains, she loves the sound of the rain on the steel roof too. My cleaning people are experimenting with towel folding, they love the frog also, but they are now working on dogwood pedals. Hopefully they'll be showing up soon. Glad you had a good stay look forward to having you back.
Enjoyed the stay at the cabin. Peaceful, everything we needed!

We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. Everything was wonderful. Nice location, very clean, they provided a lot of towels and rags to wash with. We will be staying here next year for sure.

Cabin was conveniently located close to. get to Gatinburg But I love the swing and listening to nature as we were there we did see a couple raccoons in rabbits and squirrels and that's kind of cool um the cabin could have been a little bit cleaner as well disappointed considering last time it was immaculate but things do happen by overall it was a very nice place to stay4

Owner response: Your comments were forwarded to our cabin overseer, we all take exception when there is a complaint about cleanliness. THIS IS SOMETHING WE TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY! We rarely have complaints about how clean the cabin is, so rest assured it is addressed. In the spring critters do begin to move about more and it seems the birds do sing louder during this period. We count it a blessing.

About the owner: We are empty nesters from the Northwest Gulf Coast of Florida. We came to the Smokies for our honeymoon many years ago and we try to come back as often as possible. We renew our romance while relaxing and enjoying the beauty. We enjoy the sense of peace around us that seems to hover over and around the mountains.
Why the Owner Chose Sevierville:
We searched for several years, in North Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee for just the right place for us. We chose the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville communities as our desired mountain retreat. Carolyne was concerned about the mountain overlook roads and I felt Gatlinburg had become too crowded. We looked around Pigeon Forge, in town, in Wear’s Valley, and found several places interesting. When we came to this cabin though, it “called to us” and we truly feel at home here in Nature’s Woods. We hope you will too. We have made some improvements and updating, we plan to do more. We want to feel comfortable coming to Nature’s Woods on the fly and finding things as we desire them. We want you to feel the same comfort of home that we strive to provide, understanding of course that it is a log cabin. As such we will try to keep that log cabin feel, even though tempted at times to modernize too much. There’s just something about the log cabin charm. One day we hope to live in the mountains several months in the year, to share our time between Florida and Tennessee. Until then, we want others to enjoy the charm, warmth, and peace that Nature’s Woods provides.
