We'd like to welcome and share with you our little piece of Paradise! Hale I has an upper unit with bedroom, dining room, living room, full kitchen-all in oriental theme, and a downstairs studio with outside shower!
Tropical plants and palms form a tropical getaway bordering a 1,000 acre forest preserve...it's back to nature ... in three separate but still together vacation units on side-by-side properties: vrbo 348185 and 348186. Here we gather up to 16 of our friends and family and enjoy our time in Hawaii.
But, when we came just ourselves, we have a choice of the studio, or the upstairs. We particuarly like the old-fashioned stove! Very unique. Or, if we wanted to live inside/outside we'd select our next door Hale II (vrbo 348186) with bedroom/den, full kitchen with a sunken living room with a panoramic view of the gardens.
Our units are Hawaiian-Style; comfortable, clean, committed to you having a wonderful time. You'll have portable chairs to take with you on the detailed "Adventures" we supply, and boogie boards to use at hot ponds or at Poihiki, or at one of the beaches in Hilo like Richardson's beach or Onekahakaha, or snorkeling at Kapoho tidepools where you'll see tropical fish, turtles and brilliant coral.
When we looked all over for a Hawaiian Retreat, we wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy the serenity and beauty of a natural setting, a little remote, but still close enough to 'civilization.' Our vacation retreat in Seaview is 25 minutes to Pahoa town with shopping and 'restaurant row,' and only 50 easy minutes into Hilo town and the airport.
When you return to the tropical oasis, you'll have a full library of video's, DVD's and CD's to choose from or just tune in the satelite TV. Barbecue your Hawaiian grass-fed steak you got at Malama Market, or freshly caught Ahi, and relax in your cottage unit, getting refreshed for another day of exploring and surprising experiences.
We also have a common area with full laundry and a screened-in lanai with dining table and chairs which you share and "talk story" with other guests, or family.
