Our dream home (hale) is located in the private community of Hawaiian Beaches by picturesque Pahao town.
We built it to share, not only with our family members, but also with YOU.
We have 2 bedrooms in the main house, then another bedroom/bath/kitchenette in the 'Ohana which is connected through the double carport.
We enjoy, as you will, barbecuing on the gas grill on the back patio, as well as putting together sumptuous meals in the modern kitchen that over-looks the dining room.
We had the home designed to be very cozy and comfotable for up to six guests.
There are so many things to do here! I urge you to use the 'Adventures' book we supply and spend the time exploring the unique sights of the wonder that is Hawaii.
And be sure to spend some time a few blocks down in our Park that over looks the grand Pacific. Just sit and relax and take in the fresh tropical sea breezes.
You'll enjoy your time here. We hope you will be touched by the spirit of Aloha, as we are everytime we come for our visit to these enchanted isles.

If you're visting the Big Island in a main search of relaxing at the nice beaches and getting your feet wet....this location is no good. Rent in Kona and Kona only!! Trust me!!!!!! Me and my girlfriend came from Oahu to the Big Island on 5-19-2011 to 5-24-2011 to do a little bit of exploring. If you are looking for a relaxing, out-of-the-touch-world type of vacation..this location will work for you. We both had no service on our cell phones... Couldn't figure out the internet, no searchable wifi connection. It really wasn't a big deal so didn't ask the owner about it, but we were completely out of touch in the "world" so to speak. This house is amazing. Everything is very tastefully decorated..CLEAN..just nice. I felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Bob Riley was extremely helpful from the moment we landed to the day we left... he suggested a great waffle house and gave us directions to the place. The thing we noticed about the Big Island...and Bob even mentioned... EVERYONE gives the directions as "go down ten blocks... turn a left at the stop sign. Take your first right, go down another five streets" - well you get the point... Thats how they do the directions over there..so if you are not good with that and your planning to use your GPS... Ask for the physical address. I will say, when we landed in Kona and drove to this place..about 3 hours away... yeeup 3 hours away (really not a bad drive though so don't stress because you see a lot on the way ... well depends what direction you take too.. there is three ways.. left ... or you can cut right through the middle... or take a right. We took a right) .. we visited kona beaches.. then worked our way down to the black sand beach (not amazing) and then finally made our way to the house at like 8PM ... we arrive in Kona at 6AM. Yeaahhh.... Anyway Bob had left fresh fruit. Fresh Milk..soy and regular which was PERFECT for us. I like regular she likes soy -- bob didn't know that though. He left us pancake mix, and coffee. Both Brand New!! This place is just nice and very peaceful. You will love it!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: I certainly appreciate their fine comments about our cottage and the amenities we provide to all our guests. If your idea of being in hawaii is just about a white sand beach - right - stay in Kona. But, what wasn't mentioned are the detailed "Adventures" we supply so our guests can enjoy natural wonders that are a visual over-dose, and just plain special. And,that is what we offer-an amazing vacation. Moreover, if your idea is lounging on a beach-Richardson's beach in Hilo is absolutely beautiful, and there are other beaches there, too, including a beach that is totally safe for children, sand bottomed goes from maybe 9" for toddlers to 8 feet for the adults to enjoy. Kona has nothing like this. We also supply boogie boards. What we often suggest is a few days 3-4 Kona side, and as many days as you can at Deep Hawaii exploring and experiencing the "real" Hawaii. In fact we have made a special arrangement at Keauhou Beech Resort for guests who want to enjoy both sides of our Big island.
