I would recomend this condo to anyone I meet. However, if I did that they might be booked up when I want to go back. :) It is a small place for two people. Its very clean and amazingly quiet for its location. I had never been to the French Quarter before so I knew nothing about picking a good location. This was the best location, in the middle of everything! I had the best weekend and hope to go back many times.

About the owner: My father's family was from Louisiana and his cousin was a famous New Orleans writer, Lyle Saxon. I first saw the city on my 21st birthday and fell in love with it. I am a classical composer and New Orleans is 'nirvana' for a musician. There's always a story behind every door in the French Quarter. I am standing at the tomb of Marie Laveau, the famous voodoo queen and am writing a musical, Voodoo on the Bayou. I originally lived on St. Ann Street in the Quarter and got the idea from the walking tours that passed by my window.
Why the Owner Chose French Quarter: The property is in the best possible location. It's also an oasis and very quiet and private. The outdoor space makes it particularly special.
