    I expected to have a good girls weekend and enjoy the home we planned on staying in but I did not expect that I would not want to go back to my own home. To my understanding the coordinator of my trip enjoyed working with the owner of BH. As a guest, I was very happy with the maintenance of the home and the available amenities. Everything from kitchen to bathroom to entertainment options was provided. We enjoyed a heated battle while playing one game inparticular. The view of from the every level was powerful and I can't wait to return. If I could I would post some of the great pics I took. This is a great place for a family, friend, or romantic get away. Part of our trip included tours of local wineries and the location of BH was perfect for out travels.

    This house is AWESOMELY GLAMOUROUS!!! The pictures and descriptions do not do it justice. First the house is gorgeous and the view is amazing. Second the owner's have provided everything you need for a perfect stay. The ladies that came were so impressed and couldn't believe how wonderful the property was. When we arrived at the house it was immaculate and ready for our stay. Also the owner's from the beginning of the process to the end were kind and helpful. I truly appreciate the opportunity to visit Beach Haven House and hope to visit again.

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    Went up for a family reunion. Everybody was so impressed by the house and yard. The beach is a long way down, but well worth the feeling you get when you arrive. We're hoping to come back in the summer, nothing but goodness here.

    I wanted to take the time to express how extremely happy my family and I were with our stay here. This was our 3rd annual family vacation and we couldn't have picked a better house. The layout of the house worked perfectly for our group. The kids (and I) fully enjoyed the lower level; playing video games and using the pool table; and the adults were able to enjoy the peaceful mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evening from the deck. The swimming pool was the perfect size and depth, allowing everyone, big and small, to play in the pool. The only con to the pool was the lack of lighting for swimming at night. Although, this definitely did not take away from us appreciating it. Having a private beach was very phenomenal. The memories we now have of watching the kids in the lake, while seeing the sun set, made the challenging trek down and then back up the 120 steps well worth it. The house was located no further than 20-25 mins from anywhere we wanted to go. Whether it was Meijers for needed supplies or fresh fruit and vegetables from the local farmers, no drive seemed like a chore. Not a complaint but something anyone renting this house should know, is that the Wi-Fi, and wireless phone service were very spotty. With that said, this truly made it a great vacation, being able to get away from everything. If you must get online for something though, there is an Ethernet cable located in the office area. So connecting to the internet is still possible. Many thanks to Mike the owner who took time to come out to check the Wi-Fi when it went down. This truly is a wonderful house. Its location, the views, the layout and amenities made this a great house. You won't regret renting this amazing property. Maria & Jose

    This house had everything it said and more. There were 17 of us, and 6 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms made life easy. The appliances and furniture were new, the kitchen was a dream to work in. Large nice grill out on the deck and table and chairs, were big enough for all of us. Loved not having to run out and buy all the paper products, and spices as soon as we moved in.The pool had many chairs, and towels provided. The kids had lots movies, games, and activities to choose from, so they were never bored. Large backyard with a fire pit, made for fun nights after swimming. Cannot imagine a better house for this large of a group. We all loved it!

    We recently had our family reunion at this place. The pictures on the wbsite do not do justice to the true beauty of the house. The place is new, well kept. All the appliances are of top notch quality. The place is extremely well supplied with trash bags, cleaning products, etc, so that one can arrive, unpack and literally hit the beach, without worrying about going shopping right away. The beach is private, which is a definite plus. We had many wonderful family dinners together out on the gigantic deck which faces west, so that we were able to enjoy many spectaular sunsets. In short, this is a wonderful place at a wonderful location. The owner is extremely easy to work with as well. We highly recommmend this place.

    We knew that this home was going to have beach access, but we were surprised to find that the beach was actually in our backyard! The views were breath taking, the beach was very private ( we rarely saw anyone else on the beach), and the home was beautiful! Everything in the house was top of the line. Between the pool, hot tub, beach,pool table, and Wii, our five children had no trouble staying occupied. We will be returning renters!

    Wow! We knew this house was a beach property but we couldn't have imagined how beautiful the beach and lake views were! And at night the moon shines perfectly on the water...simply breath taking. And the setting was very private we rarely saw anyone but us on the beach. Everything in the house was top of the line. The kids were always occupied with the pool, beach,the Wii, the pool table or the extensive dvd library. We will certainly be returning!

    Perfect home for all ages. Everthing needed for the perfect family vacation. Beautifully decorated. Extra's include Electronic dart board, Wii and a zillion games, pool table, TV in every room, plus so much more. Owner are wonderful to work with. Quick reply to emails and phone calls. Highly recommend.

    Our group of 11 girlfriends had a fantastic "ya-ya" weekend at Beach Haven. The photos on the website simply do not do this home justice. The home was lovely, roomy, and stocked with every amenity we could need. The views were amazing and the beachfront access perfect - it felt like the California coast. We ventured to some wineries and Saugatuck shops during one of our four days there, but for the rest of the time simply felt no reason to leave this home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    This was the second time I've stayed at the Beach Haven, and once again, it was amazing. Everything is absolutely perfect for a fun-filled getaway...The house, the pool, the hot tub, the yard, the beach...and don't forget about the view! Everyone in my group was blown away by all of the amenities, and we all agreed that we need to go back ASAP. If you book this wonderful house, you won't be disappointed.

    We found this to be a newer, upscale, well maintained luxury home. The website information is accurate and complete. We absolutely loved it. We spent most of our non-dining room time bonding at the heated pool, at the private beach and on the deck. It is perfect for our scattered families. Grandparents are from Arizona and their busy families from Illinois and Indiana. 8 adults and 8 children had plenty of room. We had no problems with the property. Our favorate physical aspects were the large bedrooms with TV and private bath, the spaceous gourmet kitchen, the large living room with big screen TV and lots of seating, the family room with big screen TV and pool table, and the large 2nd floor deck. The large back yard, private beach and gorgeous views of Lake Michigan sunsets were the beauty. Bring extra flashlights for late evening use of the private stairs to the beach where we had some small bonfires. Since we had seen most local attractions, we limited our excursions to St. Joseph and the Kalamazoo Air Museum. After 3 family gatherings at other homes several miles away, we upgraded to this home and are now happy to be booked here for July 2011.

    We rented Beach Haven for two night at Christmas last year. Each bedroom had it's own bath and TV, two large family spots--great room with fireplace, lake views, large flat screen TV on upper level and family room with TV and pool table on lower level. Its was perfect for our extended family group. Great fun using the hot tub as the snow was falling. Because of the bad weather, we didn't enjoy the lake or sunsets, but I'm sure it would be spectacular if the weather cooperated.

    We had a great stay at this property. 16 (ages 6 to 73) people total and never felt cramped. You can find things to do if you want, golf nearby, shopping and blueberry picking. We just spent most of or time at the house. Lots to do there. Kids loved the pool (we paid the extra to heat the pool and it was worth it!) and the beach. Lots of stairs to get to the beach but well worth the effort. There are beach toys and chairs there. Hot tub was great. Very good service with a minor problem with the wireless internet was fixed by the owner within an hour. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. I have back problems and was very comfortable on the bed. Kitchen is very good. Back deck has two nice tables and very spacious. Grill is big enough to cook for 16 with no problem. The most amazing sunsets, can't even begin to describe them. I would highly recommend this property!

    We stayed in this house with a total of 6 adults and 4 kids 2 and under. The place is very pretty, clean, as described, well appointed and does not have a feel of a rental home at all. The views are spectular and it was really nice to have a private Beach area even though it was freezing cold outside for New Years! Communication with the owner was very easy and there were no major problems. There were a few things that could be improved on. The couches felt like they would fall apart anymoment but weren't horribly uncomfortable. The heating was flaky, it would be freezing in one room and a suana in another and then switch the next day. The most annoying thing is that all the beds have this 2 posts that sticks out on the bottom that you don't see under the covers and several of us banged our knees pretty badly, I did it twice! One thing that can't be fixed is that the only bathroom open to the main living area is also the main level master bathroom so that couple had to share or you have to go to your own room which is annoying if you had a bedroom downstairs. Just a personal thing but I felt a big screen TV would be a good upgrade as well. Overall it was a great stay. I don't think you will find many properties of this caliber (trust me I looked) and with this many rooms. The few complaints were small (minus heat) but we were also there in the dead of winter. We are considering going back in the summer. Thanks Pam!

    We rented out Beach Haven for the weekend. We rentexc the home for a laid back bachelor/bachelorette weekend. There were 16 adults and we had tons of room, everyone fit wonderfully. There were tons of towels and included everythign we could want or need. The nice open kitchen made cooking easy. The heated pool was wonderful, clean and very nice. The private beach was so nice. We will come back for sure.The susnsets on Lake Michigan are the best.

    This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. We went with 3 families and children. It was perfect..the hot tub, the pool, the large bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, videogames, pooltable, etc...It was awesome. I plan to go back again.

    Very nice property. Spacious, clean, every possible amenity. Our party included people from age 7 to 60, including teens and young adults. We all were comfortable and had a great time. The location is spectacular. The most georgeous sunsets. Also very private. Seemed like we were the only ones around even though their were neighbors. Was very hard to leave.
