This 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4 comfortably with a king mattress in the master bedroom, and 2 singles in the second. The entire house is newly furnished so you can not only enjoy your days out, but also your nights in. The new hardwood floors, and bright exterior and interior painting gives you that bright, open beachy feel you might want during your vacation getaway. The central air conditioning throughout makes you feel extremely comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen will make it convenient for you to cook all of your meals right at home. Bring your pets along on this vacation and they will get a kick watching the egrets, herons and other birds from the sunroom that overlooks the rookery outside!
When you are wanting to spend your nights outside as well, there is a gas grill on the screened in porch and 2 other decks so you can barbecue out with friends and family. After that, lay on your hammock and watch the lighting from distant storms on your roof-level balcony in the back. Make sure to glance at the gorgeous lagoon behind the house, filled with wonderful birds and turtles. If you look real close, you might even see a few alligators!
If go-cart tracks, putt-putt and t-shirt shops are not quite your thing, then come visit Harbor Island, South Carolina where the beautiful, unspoiled natural barrier sea islands will steal your heart. Play tennis and swim in the pool nearby, and walk along the ocean for ultimate relaxation. You are close to Hunting Island State Park Golf Course if you would like to get a couple holes in, and you are nearby Downtown Beaufort if you and the kids would like to catch up on your history. Enjoy this beach getaway that is not too crowded nor commercialized and be welcomed by the friendly people of Harbor Island.
