This is the perfect home to enjoy all that South Florida has to offer. Located minutes walk from the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea beach.
The house is a 4 bedroom 3 bath house. It has 2 master bedrooms, each with a King sized bed, their own bathroom, and TV. The two other bed rooms that share a bathroom in the hall. The two additional bedrooms have a Queen sized bed in one, and a full sized bed in the other. We also have a queen sized futon that can be made into a bed.
The heated pool is overlooking the canal and 65 ft dock in the back. You could rent a boat and park it at the dock during you stay.
The screened in patio has a 2nd table & chairs for dinner or breakfast outside.
The pool patio also has 4 chaise lounges and 4 chairs for lounging and relaxing.
The kitchen is fully equipped, microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, etc (pots/pans/plates, silverware and glasses included).
Bathrooms are fully equiped with towels, hairdryers, shampoo and shower gel.

We had initially tried to book a home at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea with a local property management company, but they could not find us a rental based on our requests/requirements and were not very easy to work with. When we came across this home, the owners immediately responded and were very flexible. Everything that was advertised on the website was exactly as was written, and we were quite pleased when we pulled up to the house for the first time. The property was extremely clean, and Pat and Kirsten went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the week we were there. We enjoyed the location on the canal, and the short walks to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, etc. We spent many mornings/evenings by the beautiful pool, on lounge chairs or the patio. Overall, the house was comfortable, clean and had every amenity a group of guests could ask for. This is a very nice house with a big clean pool. There are sunbeds for everyone and beach-chairs to bring to the beach. There are several places to have dinner both inside and outside. Its right on river and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it to others. Family of 8 (three generations)Did you find this review helpful? Waters Edge was the perfect place for our family to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays. The setting was quiet and lovely and everyone enjoyed the heated pool, and patio and grill. The kids even loved fishing from the dock. The house was spacious, clean and well stocked (linens, cookware etc.). 1st Master suite on one side of the house and 2nd Master with 2 additional bedroms on other side of house were great for the number of people (7). We were very pleased to find the owners attentive and easy to work with both before and during our stay. The WIFI and Cable worked as advertised. A big plus was being a 1/3 mile walk to the beach. Also stores were an easy drive (or 1/2 mile walk) away. Having the grocery store close by was helpful as we cooked in often and entertained our extended family who live in the area and joined us for holiday dinners as well. This was our first rental via VRBO. The Listing for Waters Edge was accurate. We would definitely rent this property again and recommend it to friends and family.Did you find this review helpful?
