Our house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood only a few minutes walk to the beach. The house is a perfect setting for friends and family to gather and spend a relaxing vacation by the pool, hottub and sauna enjoying the warm, Florida weather. Hwy. A1A, the primary ocean road that runs along the beach from Miami north thru Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach, is only a couple blocks away. Fort Lauderdale's primary nightlife and beach-front restaurants are only a 3 kilometer (2+ mile) walk/drive from our street. The famous Galleria Mall with exclusive stores is a 1 mile drive while Sawgrass Mall with hundreds of outlet stores is 30 minutes away. Supermarkets, movie theaters, golf, restaurants, and nightlife are all short drives from our house while Downtown Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas Boulevard is a great venue for art stores, boutiques, nightlife, and high-end restaurants. Boating/fishing excursions, jet skiing, and parasailing are all offered nearby on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The port for the major cruise lines out of Fort Lauderdale is a 10 minute drive while the Fort Lauderdale International Airport is a short 15 minute drive from our house.

I can't say enough great things about this home! It has everything you need already in it! The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach and shops/restaurants are right down the street. The house is gorgeous and the pool is amazing! I would stay here again and again. The owners are very responsive and a pleasure to have dealt with. Alquilamos esta casa durante una semana porque estábamos de vacaciones con mi familia. Nos recibió su dueña, tal y como habíamos coordinado, y nos atendió súper amablemente. La casa es muy linda, amplia, luminosa, cuenta con parrilla, pileta y jacuzzi. Está equipada con todo lo necesario para garantizar unas excelentes vacaciones. La ubicación es inmejorable (a una cuadra y media de la playa), en una zona muy tranquila. La propiedad estaba limpia y bien cuidada. We were welcomed by the owner as we had coordinated and they served us extremely well. The house is very nice, spacious, bright, with grill, pool and jacuzzi. It is equipped with everything needed to ensure a great vacation. The location is unbeatable (a block and a half from the beach), in a very quiet area. The property was clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay at this property and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Ft. Lauderdale area. Check in was simple and we were met at the house by Alessandra who gave us a tour of the house. As well she made recommendations on things to do nearby including restaurants, attractions and grocery stores which were all very convenient. The home itself is quite large with three full bedrooms on the main floor and a spacious master suite with sitting area, cathedral ceiling walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and private deck. There is additional sleeping for two more on a pull-out. The living space was well-appointed with plenty of room. We did not feel the least bit crowded with 8 adults and a toddler. Additionally, there was a children’s area with many toys, chairs and PS3. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could ask for including many condiments, baking needs, as well as coffee and tea. Alessandra was an extremely gracious host and even brought over a new coffee grinder and kettle for us. The breakfast nook was good for small meals. The main dining room table is quite large and we were easily able to seat ten adults. The main living room was spacious and a good place to hang out for conversation or watching tv. There are no shortages of tvs in the home, every bedroom had one, plus the living room and sitting room. We also found the washer/dryer and provided supplies very helpful with the little one. As well, there was a crib and high chair at the home. There were plenty of good linens available and lots of towels for the beach/pool. The backyard pool and patio was perhaps the best feature of the house. The pool was beautiful, clean and warm and there was also an outdoor bar and BBQ.There were pool toys as well and plenty of outdoor seating. The area itself was a quiet residential neighborhood only a 5 min walk to the beach. We did have a car and found it very easy to get around the area. Grocery stores and restaurants were a short drive (about 5 min at most). The hotel beach strip and nightlife was a little longer drive but I would still guess it was under 10min. Checkout was simple and our security deposit was returned quickly. Alessandra and Mark are great hosts and were quick to respond to any questions or requests. We will be recommending this home to anyone we know traveling to Florida and look forward to returning ourselves someday. This was my first time renting a house for a group trip, so I had hesitations going in, but this was the best trip. First off, the pictures don't do this house justice. The owners are great. Anything that you need, they will make happen. Pool was a little cold, and within 15 minutes, the pool guy was there to remedy the issue. The house is very spacious. We had 9 people, and everyone had plenty of space. The towels and other amenities are top notch. TV's in every guest room, breakfast nook, great outdoor dining, plenty of outdoor seating, and best of all - the entire 2nd floor is the master suite! Sitting area, King size bed, large shower, tub, double closets, balcony overlooking pool = tranquility. The walk to the beach is literally only 5 minutes, and the beaches were great. It truly is a great location: a private neighborhood, yet minutes to Las Olas and other downtown attractions.
