Beautiful and cozy 1 bedroom apartment in central Lisbon with amazing view over Campo Santana garden.
You are in the heart of Lisbon but with the garden, castle and river views you don't feel like you are in a capital city. In a good way.
The garden in front of the house has a small pond and in the hot summer nights you can fall a sleep listening to the ....frogs!
But if you prefer a silent night do not worry because all the windows are sound proofed.
The apartment as lot's of light but both the living and the room have shutters to block the light out if you feel like sleeping late.
The balcony is decorated with hanging vases with flowers and a palm tree, great to have breakfast on a sunny Lisbon day.
You can see the fire works 1.5mi away from Praca do Comercio on new years eve.

Comfy living room with 40'' Lcd, DVD, Stereo, cable TV ( with spanish, english, french, italian speaking channels) and High speed Wi-fi internet. You also have plenty of books, magazines CD's and DVD's to choose from.
The apartment is ideal for a couple but in addition the living room pull-out sofa makes a great double size bed allowing for two more people to sleep comfortably in the living room.
And for the fitness lovers there's a yoga ball, a pull-up bar, and a set of dumbbells for the morning workout before the Lisbon sightseeing.
Bus and Taxi stop downstairs.
Bairro Alto is 10 minutes away by taxi.
Airport in 15 mn.
Paid public parking in the apartment street or underground paid public parking 5 minutes walking distance.

Large apartment - spacious - clean - great location & taxis stand in front of building - we walked everywhere - its very easy to find your way around - Great view from Balcony - Host was very helpful and accommodating for all our needs - You were in need of nothing here and everything was very functional. The apartment is as comfortable as can be, and has everything you need to cook a meal, get a good night's sleep and get ready for sightseeing in the morning. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and our host had arranged to have us met by someone who showed us how to work the appliances and get the wi-fi set up. But the stand-out characteristic of this home is that balcony, with a sweeping view over red-tiled rooftops toward the river and the hills beyond. The little park just below the balcony offers greenery and the sounds of a waterfall -- very soothing as you watch the sun set after a busy day in Lisbon. The neighborhood contains a good many hospitals, but the ambulance drivers of Lisbon seem not to use their sirens very often, so they did not disturb us. There are a couple of grocery stores within a quarter mile or so from the apartment, a drug store in the same block, and several pastry shops, fruit stalls and restaurants nearby. Especially nice is the area just down the hill, on your way to Avenida da Liberdade, where the cobbled streets and tile- or stucco-covered houses make you think you are in Alfama, but without all the tourists. You can walk to just about everything in Lisbon from the apartment, and if you are too tired to hike up the hill upon returning from a day out (you don't get those views without a good hill), it is easy to catch the nearby tram, the Elevador do Lavra. It will climb the hill for you. And last but not least, I cannot say enough good things about our host. He responded quickly to emails and checked to make sure that we were comfortably settled in after our arrival. When we had a small crisis with the computer we had brought with us, he went out of his way to help us solve the problem. It was a pleasure being his guest. From the beginning, Ivo responded quickly and was patient as we tweaked our plans. I knew we wanted this apartment based on the photos and the description. We were not wrong. It provides just like the pictures and the descriptions written. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Having the balcony was so nice even though we were there in December. The views were great and I would love to go back when all is in bloom and warm. It’s a very cool laid back apartment with lot’s of light and an amazing view of typical Lisbon, Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, the Christ and .... lot’s of sky. Why the Owner Chose Lisbon:
I love Lisbon, and I wanted to live in the city center without feeling the center pressure. I chose this place because it has a great 'small village' neighborhood feel although being close to everything.
You can walk, drive, ride a bike, grab a cab or public transportation quite easily.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The view without a doubt. I'm in love with the open sky in the living room and balcony. I can see as far away as Arrabida on a clear day. I get to enjoy the birds flying in the morning and at the end of the day.
Try to spot a couple of beautiful parrots that live in the big palm tree in front of the house. I've surrounded the balcony with hanging vases and that gives a bigger sense of peace in the midst of the city life.
