                    Could have not asked for a better place to stay on our vacation. The listing was very accurate, photos were very accurate, property was very well maintained. The view was great, we enjoyed visiting with the care takers of the property very much. They were so helpful, I don't think you will find any nicer people anywhere. Would recomend this to anyone who likes the piece and quit of country living, and still being close to town. Less than 45 minutes to Branson, Mo., 10 Minutes to Harrision, Ark.

                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

                    This was a very very nice place to stay. We enjoed our selves very much. The home wa very nice and had all the things that you would need for a week or so. The couple that take care of the property were the best. They did not bother you but were there if you needed them. They became friends (good ones). We went to ride motorcycles and did all that the booklet said. If you enjoy being in the country you will love it. It is quite and the sun don't come up until 7 or so. the view is fabulious. The photos on the site hit it right on the nail. Very clean. We would diffently come back. Food is Alpena that the little home town was good and you could drive 30 min and be in Branson. Harrison is about a 10 min drive and alot to choose from there. We did not go at a busy time so it was very quiet in town and could go anywhere and not have to wait. If you go to ride motorcycles you will love it. It was very very good riding and alot to see our beautiful country. The views are wonderful.

                    WOW! Where do I start. Perfect setting with a fantastic view. Open meadows with grazing cattle, a pond all boarderd with trees. This could be my retirement home. The house is spacious and updated. All you need to bring is your clothes and your groceries and your home. Pam was great to keep us updated to weather that had effecting the area prior to our arrival, making sure that we would be accommodated. We can't say enough about Dale and Edith, the property managers. They made us feel like family. The location was perfect, close to Branson, Harrison, and even Ericka Springs. If you want to get away from the rat race this is the place. I'm sure we will be back. I only hope it will be available once folks find this house.

                    Beautiful, clean home in a gorgeous country setting. If you like staying away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist city, you are close enough to drive to Branson or Eureka Springs. Plenty of space with all the amenities of a home. Special thanks to Dale and Edith (property managers) for making us feel welcome. One of the best maintained vacation homes we have rented. Can't wait to stay here again. Will definately recommend to our friends and family.

                    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

CANCELLATION: Cancellations for daily or weekly reservations require a 14 day notice prior to arrival date for a full refund, less a 5% service charge based on the total amount charged. If notice occurs within 14 days of arrival, the deposit may be forfeited. PAYMENT METHODS: You are responsible for the entire period reserved. Payment is to be made online through VRBO by credit card or e-check, or by mailing payment(s) directly by check, cashier’s check or money order. Mailing address to be provided.                   About the owner: My husband & I moved from NH to Texas with our 2 sons in 1984. David is a wonderful carpenter (since the age of about 16), having learned the trade from his father. I've been a bookkeeper since before graduating from high school, and have worked in an accounting office for over 25 years. We like to travel, easy hiking and visiting caves. I'd like to try rafting! We love animals and currently have 3 cats and a puppy that rule the roost! One of my favorite places to visit is Turpentine Creek, just outside of Eureka Springs. It is a huge facility that rescues lions and tigers and bears - Oh my!!

                  Why the Owner Chose Harrison:
                  We actually didn't set out to buy a vacation rental home. We vacationed in Eureka Springs in October 2007, which is an easy 8 hour drive from our home, and we fell in love with the area. It reminded us of NH. We started looking for a place to retire and found this house and some land. I started our vacation rental business in October 2010. Once we retire, we plan to live in the house while we build and then rent the house again. We love it. It's in the country, but close to everything, including airports.

                  The Unique Benefits at this House:
                  We love being in the country. Always have. We also enjoy being in the heart of so much to do, if we choose to, even if it's just a drive through this beautiful country. Shopping and restaurants are close by, but not too close! Because of the nature of my work, we haven't been able to enjoy the April spring flowers nor the fall colors of October, which I look forward to rectifying one of these days!
