We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Bf Bungalow. Julie and Bob were the perfect hosts, even inviting us to a bonfire one night. The pictures are very accurate in terms of decoration--there are beautiful antiques and artwork everywhere--and the house is even larger than we expected. Everything was very clean and things like towels and paper products were all supplied. The setting was beautiful, with rolling hills, woods and farm fields all around. We especially enjoyed Letchworth State Park's waterfalls and scenic vistas. There were plenty of good restaurants in the area; recommended are Bourbon & Burger Co. and Main St Pizza Company in Batavia and End of the Road Inn in Pavilion. Finally, if you're interested in history and shopping for antiques, this is the perfect area to visit. One week will not be enough!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Joe & Jennifer, We enjoyed sharing our wonderful Bungalow with you for the week. So happy that you enjoyed visiting Western NY. We have our own "Little Bit of Heaven" here.

House is even better than pictured; really unique place. The bedrooms are on separate levels and allow plenty of privacy. Julie and Bob are so friendly; they made us feel very welcome. Also, great location - so much to see and do in the area. We enjoyed hikes at Letchworth and Watkins Glen, plus wine sampling. I would love to return for a winter visit and enjoy the fireplace. Thanks to Julie and Bob, this was a very special vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks Texans for the great review. Glad you had a great time and we would love to have you come back again.

Our family enjoyed the property of Julie and Bob very much. The property was very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. Julie and Bob were both very helpful and showed great hospitality. They gave us great ideas for activities and restaurants. Our favorite was Laurie's Restaurant in downtown Warsaw. The property was located between the Finger Lakes and Buffalo (Niagara Falls). We drove all over the area to see all the attractions. The last day of our stay was very hot so we drove back to Keuka Lake to taste the wines on the wine trail. Thanks for a great vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much Holly and Doug, We enjoyed your visit here in Western NY Come again!

We had a great time at Bf Bungalow - and would highly recommend staying at this location... The living room and dining room areas were comfortable and inviting; perfect for a nice Thanksgiving dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owner was most helpful in answering our questions, and went out of her way to recommend nearby attractions. She even brought us some homemade baking :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Just wanted to thank you Julie and Robert for our stay at the bungalow. We loved being there and are rounding up our family trying to get summer dates for our return. We will keep you posted. The bungalow is nice and clean. Julie and Robert are gracious hosts. The surroundings are beautiful. It's a wonderful, peaceful, place to be! Julie and Robert are instantly gracious and are rightfully proud of the bungalow. We look forward to our return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for your nice review. It was a pleasure having you stay and look forward to you coming back next summer. The summer is wonderful here. You can enjoy the horseshoe pit, campfire, volleyball, croquet, etc. Also just a short drive to Letchworth Park.

Mr. and Mrs. B are gracious hosts. There was a friendly atmosphere and a quiet place to get away from it all. There was plenty of room for my family of 4. The architecture of this bungalow was beautiful and not designed like your typical home. The village is like taking a step back in time with the old gas lights along the road. The home is designed with old world flare and has lots to offer. The location was in the center of all the places we wanted to visit. We visited the Museum of Play, Niagara falls, Corning Glass museum, Bath Fish Hatchery, and last but not least Letchworth State park. Unfortunatly we did not plan as much time as we should have at Letchworth. We got there at 10:30am and left at 7:30pm and only saw 1/3 of the park. We had a slow relaxing day surrounded by a beautiful park atmosphere. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon of the East you need to spend your week at the BF Bungalow and visit the surrounding area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you Champy family. It was wonderful meeting you and hope you can return. We try to make you as comfortable and welcome as possible. My only regret was that the weather was not the best while you were here. Hope to see you back again!

I first found the BF Bungalow as part of the motorcycle travel network...on our way to a Dylan concert in Rochester. A very quick visit but a very beautiful and comfortable space to relax in. Julie and Robert are amazing hosts. The second visit was a x-country skiing weekend with 2 girlfriends...an absolutely relaxing weekend...skiing and hiking by day, preparing gourmet dinners and enjoying them fireside in the lovely living room by night. The most recent visit was a quick overnight with a friend...back on the motorcycles and this time we enjoyed a hike up to the neighbourhood inn for a lovely gourmet dinner. I've already booked a week here in August and I truly think, a visit every quarter is a must...only 1 hour from Buffalo, it is an awesome getaway from Canada. The pictures do not do this lovely hideaway justice. And Julie, Robert and Whiskey are like family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your review! Always a pleasure to have you stay. Glad you enjoyed your dinner at "The Hillside Inn". It is a true Gem.

We found the "bungalow" quite by accident a few years ago and been visiting every year ever since. This year we will visit twice! In the warmer months, we recommend the hammock in the sunshine and long walks along the grounds. In the winter the fireplaces are worth the price of admission alone. The kitchen is large and stocked with cooking essentials. Property is always immaculate and well cared for. The owners are so kind that we have begun to think of them as family. My teenage children have fond family memories of the days spent at the "Bungalow" If your an artist bring your supplies for there is always something new to inspire you.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for the lovely review. We try to make your stay relaxing and peaceful. This is a very inspiring place, you are correct.
