Our lake home is family-owned on the north end of the famous Mille Lacs Lake, located just two miles from the small town of Garrison and only 22 miles from downtown Brainerd. Our lake home has a "million-dollar view and location." It sits near the beautiful sand beach with just the right elevation to enjoy the wonderful sunrises and sunsets.
This location provides privacy on a large lot accented by many trees with ample shade and a cozy, lake-front fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. The sundeck located above our boathouse provides a breathtaking ocean-like view of the lake and a spacious area to relax and sunbathe.
There are two porch areas, one three-season and the other year-round with a wood-burning stove. Both porches and the kitchen provide spectacular views of this vast lake. Directly off of the dining area, there is a large patio door that leads to a spacious deck with plenty of outdoor comfort and seating. There are two bedrooms, each with a very comfortable bed (one full-size, one queen-size).
Mille Lacs Lake, one of the largest lakes in Minnesota at over 132,500 acres, is famous for its walleye fishing. Enjoy 200 feet of beautiful sand shoreline on the property with a swimming area that has a sandy bottom and refreshingly clear water. Bring your boat - there is a launch area on-site and you will have access to a dock.
Fish the lake on your own, or you will find several guided-launch fishing options within two miles of our location. Nearby you will find world class golf courses, North Central Raceway, CBIR International Raceway, as well as many wonderful areas to shop and dine. Grand Casino is just ten miles from our location. A popular bike route, the paved Soo Line Trail, is also located south of our property.
