A lovely apartment based in Notting Hill Gate, only 3 minutes walk to Notting Hill tube, Kensington Palace and Gardens.

Close by is an excellent variety of pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants on Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road, where the famous market takes place every weekend.

A walk across the park will take you to the Victoria & Albert and British Science Museums and the Royal Albert Hall.

A number of supermarkets are also close by, and Oxford Street and Westfield Shopping centre are a 5 minute bus ride away.

High Street Kensington and Holland Park are also walking distance.

Excellent transport links are walking distance away, including Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, and several bus routes.

                Stayed 7 nights in this lovely flat, along with another couple. It was a perfect place for 2 couples or family, with a large living space and two very comfortable bedrooms. The bathrooms were modern and comfortable to use. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The place was very clean, which is of first importance to me. Christos, owner, met us there and was very helpful and pleasant. Overall, loved this place and would definitely stay again when in London.

                Our family of three found the flat bright, well appointed, clean, comfortable and everything we'd expected based on the photographs and description on the VRBO site. The owners were responsive to our emails prior to the trip, answered questions and provided helpful information for our vacation planning purposes. The close location to the tube stops was a huge help in getting around the city and back and forth to Heathrow. Although this flat is located off a busy street - which is convenient for shopping and restaurants - the garden apartment was quiet with the location on a lovely dead end street with no traffic noise. If we visit London again, we would be happy to stay in this property again and recommend it to our family and friends.

                The flat looks just like the photos. Very clean and bright and roomy. The location is wonderful. It's a beautiful walk by Kennsignton Palace through the park to several fabulous museums and shopping! The tube stop is very close and the bus stop is just around the corner. There are several nice restaurants and coffee shops within a couple of blocks. After fun-filled busy days of sightseeing it was nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle to this quiet neighborhood just a short tube ride away. It was a relaxing home base for our week in London for our family of four (two boys 11 & 13). Lots of closet space and great to have two bathrooms! Very nice owners to work with and lovely touches throughout. The check-in and out was very straight-forward.

                We stayed for four nights and found the location and facilities to be exactly as advertised. The flat was clean and bright despite being a basement unit. Being in a cul-de-sac there was limited traffic in front of the unit making it quite quiet and peaceful. Access to many shops, restaurants, the "Tube" and ATM's made our stay very easy to manage. Are there flats closer to the West End and Piccadilly, yes, but with the Underground nearby all attractions were just minutes away. The wireless internet was a blessing for our "wired in" kids. The kitchen was well equipped but because of its location in the flat and being November it was always quite cold. As a family of 4 we found this to be a perfect place and would not hesitate to return or recommend this to friends.

                The apartment fulfills all the promises you can read in other reviews, so I will not mention them again, but, trust me, it's all true. It is really fantastic and provides all the comforts we could ask for. The kids and us were enthusiastic and we really called it "Home" while we were in London. There is only one thing I want to add to other reviews: it is incredibly quiet, day and night, and you can take for sure that there will be no noise around you. I would definitely recommend it to anyone: it is very clean, comfortable, quiet, located in fascinating Notting Hill, "next to everything", in a city that, maybe thanks to the recent Olympics, is super-wonderful.

                We had a lovely stay at Nottinghill Gate during the London 2012 Olympics. Everything was just as we had expected and we were able to drop off our bags early which was a big help. WiFi access was a plus since we were always checking in for game results. Plenty of light and full of little touches to make the place seem like home. The location was wonderful, so close to Nottinghill Gate Station, Kensington Park, stores such as Tesco, Simply M&S, newsstands and restaurants. The dryer still does not really dry, but we used the provided hanging rack. Some smoke from the apartment upstairs filtered down into our little shared "courtyard" on several occasions, but that was the only unpleasant thing we dealt with. We would recommend the flat, and appreciated Francesca and Christos' help. Thanks to Claudia as well for all of the correspondence!

                For a mother-daughter trip to celebrate graduation from Law School this Notting Hill flat was a perfect location. The communication prior to arrival was so helpful and Francesca was at the flat when we arrived. Even though this is a basement flat it has high ceilings and is modern, clean, and comfortable. The artwork is lovely and adds so much to the decor. With all the conveniences of home including very comfortable beds I would definitely plan to book this flat the next time in London. Notting Hill Gate tube station is a a short walk and there are grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. all within a few blocks.

                This flat was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teen daughters). The owner was there to meet us when we arrived from the airport, showed us everything we needed, and even had the refrigerator stocked with milk, orange juice, and a bottle of wine! Even though it's a basement level flat, we found it to be plenty bright, extremely clean with updated bathrooms and comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and was much more spacious than we had expected it to be based on the photos. The location on a quiet side street, just 2 blocks from Hyde Park and also very close to the Notting Hill Gate tube stop and right on a number of key bus routes was perfect. Making arrangements for our stay was very straightforward and efficient with the owner. We love London, and very much hope to return sometime soon. If we are so lucky, we would definitely look to stay here again before pursuing any other options.

                Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) very comfortably stayed in this apartment for a week. The street is very quiet and secure and access to the apartment could not be easier. Quick walk to the Tube station, restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment is decorated with some fantastic art that makes the stay feel like home. We were very impressed with our 'downtime' at the apartment... we were provided with high speed internet as well as a good selection of DVD to watch. The owners were very helpful and responsive to our needs. Checkin and checkout was seamlessly easy. We have recommended this location to our friends already and would consider it again.

                Lovely flat with lots of light and space. Great location - Lots of options near by yet quiet location for sleeping. Comfortable beds and great space in which to rest after a full day of walking and sightseeing. Only feedback is minor - wifi doesn't reach master bedroom, dryer takes quite a while to dry (as warned) however these are small in comparison with what this flat has to offer.

                Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
