My husband & I stayed here while visiting family in nearby Swanton. Admittedly, we didn't spend a lot of time at the cottage b/c we were elsewhere with family, but it was a great little place to come back to at night and have our own space. The property was clean; everything worked. Photos were accurate. The owner was very helpful, friendly, and easily reachable. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a great time at the cottage, it was perfect for our needs and had a beautiful view. The only thing I want to mention is that cell phone reception is horrible and almost non-existant- so be prepared for that. We have Verizon and At&t and had no cell phone reception all week. Also, the wi-fi was not working and the owner wasn't able to fix it (even the neighbors) so we didn't have internet all week either. It was very quiet and peaceful, but we had no communication with anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

The cabin was just perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. The large livingroom windows afforded us a lovely view of the lake no matter the weather. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake many days. It was close to all the attractions like Alburgh Dune State Park, Montreal, Burlington and St. Alburg. We even made a day trip and drove to Maine! The neighbors were all very pleasant and helpful. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
