My son rented this house. We are building in Ramcho Santana and wasn't sure I wanted to stay here. I loved it! Hearing the animals and seeing the fire flys at night was the best. This house is architecturally interesting and well equipped.. You can walk to Colorados to surf in about 20 minutes about the same distance to walk to Los Perros.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.

About: I took and early retirement from the telecommunications field and went back to school to become a Naturopath. I found the perfect get away spot at La Vista and decided to make a home here.
Why Tola:
I came to Nicaragua on vacation in 2007 and fell in love with the area. There are not many vacation spots where you can enjoy tranquil privacy while you observe nature all around you. Or walk a beach that is still pristine and uncrowded.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
My most favorite thing to do is sit on my porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the howler monkeys in the trees nearby. After awhile you begin to recognize the different groups. It's like watching the Discovery channel :)
After I'm done with my morning ritual, I take a walk down to the beach for a stroll, then I jump in the pool at Iguana to cool off. My day usually includes an adventure, like a trip to Mombacho volcano, or a boat ride out of Rivas to Ometepe. And of course lots of shopping excursions to Masaya.
I usually end my day with a late afternoon cocktail on the porch watching the monkeys again. Oh and I occasionally actually read the book that is sitting in my lap.
