  We loved the condo, with the beautiful furnishings and wonderful location. Worked well for a family reunion, where three of our party flew in from New Zealand to meet us coming from California. We were pleased and surprised with how quiet it was, and loved the pool area and proximity to shops and Beach. Loved having dinner at Lava Lava Beach Club and watching the setting sun! We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend Dianne's beautiful condo.

  We appreciated the golf course view, furnishings and equipment provided. Very nicely done - including a bag of Kona coffee, beach chairs, and boogie boards. Comfortable beds too. Recommend Macaroni Grill for dinner (get 20% off coupons at Costco), 69 beach at Puako, and scouting around Kailua if the wind is strong in Waikaloa.

  We had a great time staying in Dianne's condo. There were 3 generations on our trip so the layout with the upstairs loft was perfect for the grandkids while the 2 downstairs bedrooms were used by the parents and grandparents. We have been to the Waikoloa are before so the boogie boards, beach chairs, noodles, and other beach gear were used repeatedly. Our kids were in the pool at least once if not twice a day. Hapuna Beach is great for boogie boarding and only 5 miles up the road. We did an afternoon snorkel cruise to Cook's Memorial for some wonderful snorkeling. Our day trip around to Hilo and over to Volcanoes National Park was on a non-rainy day and allowed us to do some short hiking trips and see some of the wonderful features of the park. With only 6 days, there was not enough time to do everything - would love to explore the area south of Hilo on the SE corner of the island. All in all, we had a very relaxing time. Next time, 2 weeks at least!

  From the moment I walked in to this condo I felt comfortable. The description and photos are accurate. I appreciate good quality in furniture and taste in decorating and was not disappointed. I loved my bed, extremely comfortable. The location is good because you do not need to drive a car to shop at the King's or Queen's Marketplace or visit some of the resorts for food or beverage. I enjoyed walking to the beach and the stroll up toward the Hilton along the coast. Sea Turtles crawl up to the sand to relax a bit at "A" bay. Many historical sites and beautiful beaches are a short car ride away. All of your beach equipment, like boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels are provided. Who wants to pay to rent a boogie board? No need. The kitchen has every appliance and tool necessary and then some. The cleaning supplies and paper towels are not locked up. I like that because I would have had to buy them otherwise, right? Communicationg with Dianne the owner is easy. She is honest and kind. Linda the property manager is responsive and relates well with the guests. I felt like I was regarded as a person and not just another renter. All you need and more is available to you. I would stay at this Condo again. Thank you for making your home our home. Aloha

  This was our first visit to the Big Island and we had a great time! The condo was beautiful and well furnished for all our needs. I was with 3 golfers and then really enjoyed the view from the lanai which faced the golf course. Thank you Dianne for a wonderful vacation!

  Our family was fortunate to be able to spend 9 nights in this condo. It exceeded our expectations and we easily felt at home in this beautiful unit. The site photos of the unit are accurate and also include photos from common sights in the area. The unit itself is exteremely well stocked with quality items from kitchen cooking essentials to beach gear. The unit is impeccably clean and also has a stash of cleaning supplies on hand. The in unit laundry, free Wi Fi and Netflix options are appreciated options. The short (5 minute) walk to Kings and Queens shops provides a more than acceptable array of choices for restaurants, convenience shops (we recommend Costco near Kona airport for big grocery shops), souvenirs, art shops and rental places. The nearest beach is only a 10-15 minute walk with lots of options for walking trails along the water. There is easy access to 2 beautiful golf courses (Beaches and King's). The lanai looks onto the Beach course and makes for an entertaining view of the water hazard in the approach to hole 15. There are plenty of options around for snorkeling, our family favorite was Two Step in Kona where you can swim near the spinner dolphins (for free!!). We also would recommend the snorkel tour with the Fair Winds group out to the Captain Cook monument. The location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to feel as though you are in your own paradise, yet close enough to get into it if that is what you are looking for. The owner was very responsive and also provides a local contact person to assist with any immediate needs. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this unit to anyone! Aloha and Mahalo!

  The website photos that attracted us to book this condo were still not quite as nice as the actual place was when we got there. It is so airy and spacious with the high ceiling and with the 3rd loft bedroom up the spiral staircase. Being on the top floor was really a plus because of the view and for getting the breezes out on the lanai coming across the golf course. Everything in the condo was in great shape, very attractive, clean and updated and it was quite well-equipped. We appreciated the various beach things that were supplied that we used, too. We were impressed from the moment we walked in, were so comfortable the 5 days we were there, and were all sad when it was time for us to leave! It was a really quick walk over to the King's and Queen's shopping areas, with a good range of restaurants and shops. Across the street from King's Shops was the Marriott where we walked over to see one evening and saw a gorgeous sunset. We swam at A-bay, which we drove to in a couple of minutes, but could have walked to in a few more. Besides the warm water and beautiful beach we walked just a short way down and saw sunning sea turtles. We also visited DolphinQuest at the Hilton Waikoloa down the street which was a real thrill as well. The location was just great for getting to the various great beaches (Hapuna Bay an, Mauna Kea were our favorites) and into Kailua-Kona for access to lots of varied shopping and eating, plus easy to get to the north to Waimea and to North Kohala. Each area is very different and interesting. We will book this unit again whenever we make it back to Hawaii again. We really LOVED staying here and will recommend it to any one visiting the Big Island!

  This unit is extremely well equipped and is very comfortable. All the appliances and amenities are right up to date. A great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, pool and barbecue area. The owners are very responsive to questions. We very much appreciated the free mainland telephone service, WiFi, and Netflix. We heartily recommend this home away from home.

  I got everything I wanted. I wanted a luxurious place to stay without the resort ripoffs. I wanted a fully stocked kitchen and a relaxing view. Lastly, I wanted free high speed internet. I stayed a week for the Lavaman triathlon. This wound up being a better place to stay the Hilton. It was closer to stores, the race, the snorkeling beach, the dive shop and the gas station. It was an easy walk back with groceries. (great dive shop? I did a first timers discovery dive. I highly recommend it.) I spent many hours on the quiet and private lanai. Most of my remote work through the web was done there because the secured wifi had a strong signal. The décor was modern, not a plain white box like so many rental condos. The rich accents made me feel at home, not like I was in a cold apartment or vanilla hotel room. The 360degree camera pan is accurate. Every room has well done accents. It looks like a professional was given free reign to decorate. The pool and barbecue area was well kept. Surprisingly the workout room had glass doors to be open to air. Cool. Though other families were at the pool, the kids were well behaved around the pool. Much quieter common grounds than at the resorts. The owners were quick to respond. Instructions for the place were well written. They were professional but warm. Everything was just as they said it would be. For independent travelers who like upscale places, I highly recommend this unit.
