  Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Coldwell Banker Island Properties staff were exceptionally helpful with the booking process. Out final payment chq got lost in the mail but they were so accomodating that it made the whole situation less stressful. We arrived at the airport and were very impressed with the condition of the roads and how easy it was to find Kihei and the Maui Sunset. We had chosen this unit because it could accomodate 5 people and we were travelling with 3 children (10yrs old and under). ITs on the 3rd floor at the furthest end away from the beach. Going back, we'd likely choose one on the ground floor and closer to the pool if possible, but this was a minor inconvenience as we only went to the pool a few times. The condo was slightly older than we had expected but it was very clean and served us just fine. We understoof there would be a cooler from what was listed on the website, but there wasn't one in the unit, so we went to Walmart and for under 10$ purchased a foam one that worked great. The beach at this end was not great, but a 10 min drive south on Kihie road brought a vast selection of terrific beaches for whatever we wanted to do (snorkle, boogie board, or just splash around). This condo is situated at the start of the area of Kiehi road where there is shopping close by. There were 3 grocery stores: 2 within 5 minutes drive, 1 within about 10 minutes, as well as markets and restaurants. We would absolutely book through Coldwell property mgmt again and would likely pick a property closer to the beaches where we spent all our time.However, this unit was prefectly fine for us this time around.

  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property overall was clean well managed and well laid out for our needs. However the unit itself was in need of some upgrades that would not cost much but would enable the owner to get extra revenue per night. The bed could be better the carpet in the bedroom was probably original so about 30-40 years old and in need of at least a shompoo cleaning as it stinks and is dirty. The T.V. could be replaced with a modern one for just $500 and a microwave oven for $100. The maids had missed a piece of meat from the previous guests and I could smell it but could not find it until we first used the air conditioner a week after we arrived in the livingroom, a dried up ball and a bunch of maggots blew out from underneath we wiped them up and the smell was gone. The vacuum cleaner was completely filled with dirt and the filter was plugged solid, I had to empty it out and literally dig the dirt from previous guests from the filter with a toothpick and small screwdriver as that was all I had not a pleasant experience when you are paying for the privilage. Had to take a shower after that as I was covered in dirt hair and skin cells from previous guests, it was lovely. We had a family of mice in the unit and I believe I managed to get them all with the broom traps and poison. Other than that it was a good place and the rest of it was good. The management firm handled the other problems, i.e. the toaster, wi-fi and the lock on the door that we could not open for the first 1 and 1/2 hours but with the managers help was able to force our way in to get our food inside. So no complaints there.

  Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very unhappy with the location. The vacation rental was very dirty. The property manager was very unhelpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we booked the condo. I told them what i want. They said this one was great. It was terrible. The view was no good, which we asked for. We asked to have a bedroom window that we could open, it was a patio do that open to the hall, how safe is that. cubboard, microwave, shower were dirty. We asked for a beach and if we could snokel there. They said yes. There was no snokeling and the beach was rocky. When we came back from our holiday we email company that booked this unit for us and said we should of complaned when we were there. If we had were would of we stayed in Maui. Everything is booked. So she said she could not help us and everyone that works for her knows there is no beach and snokeling there. We were so disapointed we would never go back to that condo unit. We have booked into a condo unit for next yr that we have been it before and it from us gets a A plus. Was very disapoint in this condo unit and how it was handled. I guess it is always a learning experience. Don't book something from a company you don't know.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Maui Sunset before, this is why we came back. The location is great and the landscaping facilites are good. Please don't display this, info for owner only - It would be ideal to have extra cleaning products in the rooms and kitchen items - spices, tinfoil, dish soap,etc. Our last room had this. Oh and a DVD player, who has VHS anymore.

We were quite content but the unit should up grade from a VHS to DVD player. Id go back in a heartbeat!
