This well-appointed lakefront house sleeps 6-8, offers central heat/air conditioning, a boathouse, and includes a paddle boat, 2 canoes, floats and fishing gear for your enjoyment. Life vests are also provided in most adult and child sizes.
Enjoy the views of Lake Lure from the deck and living room. The huge deck is furnished with comfy chairs, picnic table and a gas grille. There's another large, nicely furnished deck on top of the boathouse and a small swim deck at water level.
Our lovely, no-wake cove offers many delights all its own: clear, protected waters for fishing, swimming and paddle boating with cool misty mornings, pleasant views and wonderful sunsets for blissful day long deck-sitting.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double size bed and one with a double bed and bunks, a sunroom overlooking Lake Lure with queen sleeper sofa and a half bath. Top quality linens are provided. For entertainment, a cable flat-screen TV, VCR/DVD player and a Nintendo Wii game console with 14 games are also provided.
Downstairs is a large great room with leather seating, cable flat-screen TV and DVD/CD player/Ipod dock, a fully equipped kitchen for eight with coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and a full bathroom with tub/shower as well as a stacked washer/dryer. Walk outside onto the huge decks for wonderful mountain air and beautiful lake views.
There is also a Pontoon available w/this home for an extra charge. Inquire about daily or weekly rental rates.

This was our first visit to Lake Lure and we were amazed by the beauty of the lake! The cottage was so cute and clean! We appreciated the decor and felt like we were at home. The cottage looks small online but the layout of the cottage is great and roomy. The only disappointment was when we booked the cottage we were assured we would be able to rent the pontoon boat for the week, but 2 weeks prior to arriving we were informed the boat still was not ready. We were very disappointed and had to rent a boat from another company for only 3 days and it was quite expensive. When visiting Lake Lure, I highly recommend you have access to a boat the entire visit. But, I have to say the cottage does offer canoes, paddleboat, floats, and fishing gear which definately was wonderful! Our teenagers had a blast! We enjoyed an excursion at Zipline Adventures which was an awesome experience. I would definately recommend the Lullwater Cottage and would love to visit again. Lake Lure is gorgeous and so relaxing!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: I grew up in Atlanta and spent many summers on the lakes of N. Georgia. After living in VA, NH and NJ (twice), I finally moved back south with my wife to raise our family in a slower paced environment. It wasn't too long after that we first visited Lake Lure and fell in love. We knew we had to find a place on the lake and a short while later we bought Lullwater Cottage.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Lure:
We loved the views from the decks, the shear beauty of the lake and the peaceful location on our quiet little cove.
