Located in the popular numbered streets of Cayucos - 1 block to beach access and within biking/walking distance of downtown.
The house features lots of windows and doors, as well as vaulted ceilings, for a spacious airy feel. Ocean views from almost every room. Large wrap around deck on the second floor offers great views. Family friendly with a good sized enclosed back yard. The house is furnished in a comfortable beachy style.
3 Bedrooms (2 Queens upstairs and 2 twins downstairs)
A futon and blow-up mattress is also available if needed
3 Baths (2 with a walk in shower and 1 with a tub/shower combo)
Upper and Lower level family room (gas fireplace in lower FR)
Third-level loft is a great hang-out area for older kids/teens
Spacious fully stocked kitchen with center island
Laundry room with full size washer/dryer
Ping Pong in converted garage
The lower level features an open living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. Gas fireplace with hearth for chilly days. The kitchen has a center island with additional bar seating and a dual fuel (gas stovetop and electric oven) double oven range. All appliances are stainless steel. Laundry room. Single-car garage with a ping pong table. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds with doors leading to the backyard deck. Full bath with walk in shower.
The second floor features a living area with a slider to the big wrap-around deck. Master bedroom and second upper bedroom both have Queen beds with doors to the deck as well. All rooms have vaulted ceilings. Master bath (walk in shower) and second full bath (tub/shower) also upstairs.
All bedrooms feature European style duvets on the beds. All bed linens, pillows and bath towels are provided. Beach towels are NOT provided. A Graco pack and play is available if you will have an infant (bring your own crib sheets).
The outside of the house has both front and back decks. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a fun day at the beach. The back yard has outdoor seating and a grill for BBQs.

Our family drove from Sacramento to enjoy Spring Break at this AWESOME HOME! Needless to say, this lovely home was everything and more we were expecting. The floor plan is awesome for a large group (5 kids), it was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The walk to the beach access took all of 3 min., it was perfect! The huge kitchen and dining area was great during meal time, the beds were super comfy, and there was plenty of bathrooms! We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. We WILL be coming back...thank you so much for sharing your incredible home! =)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you for our amazing stay! The house is beautiful & the girls loved it. We loved the kitchen and you selection of movies. The stay gelt just like home. Thank you. My only complaint is that our BBQ ran out of propane. (owners note - a number is provided to call if any problems like this come up)No biggie. But the beach was beautiful. We rented this house in August. New house, very nicely remodeled. One block from the beach and within walking distance of town. Perfectly clean with very comfortable beds. Master bedroom upstairs is huge. All new amenities made the house very comfortable and the gas fireplace made it very cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor balcony, drinking local wine and watching the sunsets. I'll be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Our Swiss-Italian ancestors were some of the founding families in Cayucos. We purchased an original beach cottage on this property and over the past 25 years it was used as a both a permanent residence by us and a vacation house. We finally decided to build a new house for future generations to enjoy. Some of our family remains local, while others are now scattered around the world, but Cayucos remains one of our favorite places to relax and enjoy time together.
Why the Owner Chose Cayucos:
Cayucos is a great place to escape - it is very easy to do absolutely nothing but relax. Yet, it is close enough to many activities if you feel like exploring. It has a past-times, uncomplicated feel to it that we love.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our beach house is ideally located in the numbered streets area of Cayucos. Beach access stairs are located at the end of the street. Downtown is an easy bike ride or walk away. Desserts at the Sea Shanty restaurant, walks along the pier and beach, treats from the Brown Butter Cookie Co. and a cocktail at Schooners upstairs oceanfront bar are some of the musts on our list. Our favorite time of year in Cayucos is Fall when the weather is usually still warm (with less fog) and the summer crowds have dispersed.
