Privacy, solitude, organic gardens and hand blown glass are all at Lapis Lane Guesthouse. Enjoy an evening walk through wooded paths under beautiful old fir trees. See and hear owls and coyotes. During the day bald eagles soar overhead. In August and September pick buckets of juicy wild blackberries right outside your front door.
Relax on the deck with a view of the water, ships, mountains and sunset. Indulge yourself in a Jacuzzi tub and steam bath. The guesthouse has a full kitchen. Guests are welcome to enjoy seasonal fruits, vegetables and flowers from our organic gardens and orchard. The home is furnished with fine art work and hand blown glass. Much of the glass is created in the studio of Dimitri Michaelides. Dimitri is a nationally recognized artist, who has work in national and international museums including the White House collection.
All bed linens are 100% cotton. Only natural non-toxic cleaning products are used throughout the home. Pets are welcome with prior approval.
For larger groups Lapis Lane Cabin is also available. The Cabin is one bedroom with a full kitchen gas fireplace and washer and dryer. There is also a gathering room available for workshops and meetings. Please call for information.
Nearby is the sea side village of Langley. The village is perched on a bluff overlooking Saratoga Passage. Langley has a stunning view of the Cascade Mountains and Camano Island. There are many interesting shops, restaurants, antique stores and art galleries. Other outdoor activities include whale watching cruses, hiking, kayaking, biking and golfing. Explore Deception Pass, Ebey's National Historic Reserve, and Meerkerkerk's Rhododendron Gardens... but, the best thing to do while visiting Whidbey, is to do nothing at all! |
