We absolutely had a blast staying on the Fishin Affliction! It was roomy, comfy, and had all of the amenities. The upper deck offered a LOVELY Saturday afternoon cookout opportunity. The kitchen was fully equpped with every dish and utensil you could ever need. I never expected all of the amenities that were provided, I figured I'd have to go to the store to get things like handsoap, dish towels...they have thought of every touch to make this place like home. I manage a country band, and we spent the weekend here while in Nashville for business, and they TOTALLY felt like they were getting the rock star treatment. They especially loved the rope lights around the windows at night LOL. The location was perfect - far enough from town to be a relaxing escape from the city, but close enough that it was very convenient to do our business. Very close to The Hermitage. Tons of groceries, gas, fast food within a short drive. I would recommend this place to anyone - families, couples, rock bands - it's really great. This will be our home away from home in Nashville, very impressive.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our overall esperience was nice. However I would suggest doing something about the spiders on the patios of the boat. TV needs replaced in the master. Other than these 2 items our stay was a success and we would rent the boat again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We decided to take a 3 day weekend and go to Nashville, this boat really made it fun. It was very comfortable, 3 bedroom 2 bath with a fold out sofa. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities and surprisingly big. The owner has a pontoon boat next to the houseboat you can rent and explore the lake. I highly recommend this! If it is an adult or teenage group, there is a sand bar with a volleyball net...fun. At the other end of the lake (near the dam) there is a restaurant you can take the boat to, nice atmosphere and good food. Back at blackjack cove you will find a great restaurant/bar with live music on the weekends and Sunday brunch. We would definitely do it again! Thanks RustyRecommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

A family reunion centering on the Music City Marathon prompted me to look for a rental that could sleep 8. This seemed like the perfect fit. Full kitchen, two baths (showers), three bedrooms and a pullout sofa. We arrived during a thunderstorm and learned the first lesson. Its a long, circuitous walk along finger slips to get the last row of boats. This was not easy with 2 small children (1 and 4) and belongings and food for eight. Bring a wagon!!!! Second lesson. There is a lock on the front sliding door, but its broken, so there's a lock and hasp type closure, which you can only lock from outside. That made minding the kids a bit of a chore. The interior was immaculately clean and well prepared. (Coffee maker not working) The exterior could have been cleaned up. We were probably the first renters in a while, so webs aplenty on the party deck, foredeck and aft deck. (No big deal) The restaurant on premises (The Black Pearl) had a nice bar and the food was good and for the most part reasonably priced. Our four days were great. On the last evening the A/C conked out and we had to open windows to stay cool. The owner (Rusty) came by and made an effort to fix it, but no luck on a Sunday night. It was unusually warm weather for late April but we managed. The security at the marina was good and there's a great view of Old Hickory Lake from the decks. Plenty of towels, pillows etc. Enough utensils and dinnerware. We didn't use the grill, but it appeared to be very large. I would definitely consider this rental again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family rented this awesome houseboat from Rusty and we had the most amazing time! There were supposed to be just 7 of us but it turned into 11 and we were still incredibly comfortable (brought in a queen size air mattress for top deck) and enjoyed a relaxing week. The neighbors were wonderful and we have made lifelong friends - will go back again, probably every year! Although the boat doesn't leave the slip, it couldn't have been a better vacation and we had a family wedding on the top deck that topped off the whole trip! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
