This amazing house offers two private rooms with queen beds, 2 dreamy single bedrooms and an amazing lounge for entertaining or slumber with 3 full sized beds tucked in beautiful window nooks. We have 2 beautiful full sized bathrooms. Entertain your family or guests in our classic formal dining room. Cook or just hang out in our spacious kitchen. Business travelers make use of our private office.

This lovely home is walking distance to downtown and Austin's blossoming East End District. We are stones throw from everything from five star dining to food trailers, bars, shops, and clubs. A list of recommendations will be provided with descriptions upon rental.
While you can walk to nearly everything exciting, there are nearby buses and trams, as well as options for rented personal bicycles and a party van with chauffeur.

About the owner: My wife and I are in our early 30's and enjoy traveling. We are laid back and equally comfortable in the lap of luxury or the gritty side of any city. We are mostly here to offer up our home in Austin Texas for fellow travelers, professionals, and romantics looking for the best of what our city has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Other Austin Properties:
Our home was built in 1909 by L.C Anderson a local historical figure. In the late 90's it fell into disrepair and sat vacant for many years. The home went up for sale in 2005 and the large lot was being bid on by developers who intended to tear it down and build several new homes in its place. My wife and I toured the property out of curiosity and fell in love with its charm. We could not let it be torn down so we stepped in and outbid the developers and spent the next 3 years working with architects and designers to bring it back to its former glory.
My wife and I have traveled the world together and there is no other place than Austin we can see ourselves living. The community is supportive of the arts and music, the attitudes of its citizens are friendly and fun loving and there is always something to do.
