Green Acre is situated 250 feet above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the bay and the Caribbean Sea. The backdrop is the main ridge, approximately 1,800 feet high, and one of the oldest forest reserves in the western hemisphere. Englishman's Bay is a pristine beach that has been ranked in the top 10 beaches in the Caribbean in numerous magazines. It is a great beach setting and also includes excellent reefs on both sides of the bay for swimming and snorkeling. The nearby village of Castara also offers a beautiful beach and swimming and snorkeling area. There are also nice restaurants and local entertainment and cultural events available in Castara.
The cottage sits on a one acre lot in a natural setting. It is an idyllic place to get away from it all.
The interior has been completely up-dated and features cabinetry with beautiful Caribbean cedar. There are also all new appliances and furniture. It is a perfect place for two people to enjoy a relaxing and romantic interlude.

My wife and I were able to spend a week at this wonderful cottage overlooking the magnificent bay. It was just as described and David was very helpful in making arrangements for transportation and providing information about local attractions. We rented a car for the duration of our stay, which gave us plenty of freedom to travel the island. We were able to explore the many beaches and rainforest walks. Beautiful! The cottage was well equipped and they even provided a cell phone, which we were able to use by purchasing a phone card. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is traveling to Tobago and looking for a private and serene place that feels very comfortable and clean while enjoying the stunning view.Did you find this review helpful?
