First Floor: Private cul-de-sac location with only the serene lake behind home. Covered parking with keyless entry to ground-level game room with 1/2 bath and Queen sleeper sofa, mini kitchen, refrigerator, microwave and sink. Game room with pool table, 32' flat screen TV, Xbox, CD player, and opens out to the private pool (14x28) and NEW hot tub!!

Three private spacious bedrooms and two large baths. Each bedroom features private access to the wrap-around gated deck with porch swing. This house had just what we needed! It was well appointed, clean, and welcoming. We were a group of three adult couples attending a wedding at the Currituck Club (a mile and a half away).It had what we really appreciated: space to spread out! The walk to the beach was easy and the pool and hot tub were great! We loved the water view. An added bonus was the close proximity a grocery store and several restaurants (we ate at North Banks Restaurant and Raw bar-great!), and the historic Corolla Village. I would recommend this home to anyone who asked.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We loved it. Very comfortable and family layout. 3 minute walk to the beach, and great backyard pool and hot tub was a huge plus! The lake was a blast for kids for feeding turtles, and men for fishing. A great all-around experience. Shopping just down the street along with 2 grocery stores within a mile. We shopped, ate donuts, lounged on the beach, played golf at Currituck Club, climbed the lighthouse in Corolla, did quite a bit, and also did a whole lot of nothing. Best vacation ever. I would definitely recommend on this house, location, super clean, and comfortable. Home away from home. I would never leave.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We couldn't have asked for a better location and house for a family reunion. The place was clean and well decorated, and had a fantastic kitchen.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway.

We can't wait to go back next year. We visited with 6 adults and 4 children and it was everything we had hoped for. The beach path behind the house was so wonderful! The beds were so comfortable and really nicely decorated, and private from each other. The adults had as much fun in the pool as the children did, and the hot tub was brand new and great to enjoy in the evening. The house was well stocked with everything that we could possibly have needed; the kitchen was very well appointed right down to the smallest item. We could not think of one thing that could have made our stay at the house better. Kudos to the owners!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you for sharing your lovely beach home. It was so inviting, comfortable, private and had every nicety we could possibly want. The beach path was so convenient, and the lake provided much entertainment for the children. All your recommendations were great. The shopping so close by made a quick run to the grocery store painless. The decor is just gorgeous and all beds so comfortable. Our family of five just returned from "A Darling Escape" and loved every minute of it! The home was beautifully appointed in the perfect "beach house" decor. We loved the beach, and found the waves to be a blast, but equally enjoyed coming back and relaxing by our own private pool. Even though we were on vacation, we appreciated having tv's in all of the bedrooms, and our boys enjoyed the game room on the lower floor. From the porch swing to the hammock to the dinner bell, Monique has thought of everything to help make your vacation an enjoyable one! We also felt Corolla to be the perfect "home spot" for our Outer Banks experience!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was our first time visiting the OBX area and won't be our last. We loved your home and the pool was a hit. We enjoyed walking to the beach and the close proximity to Corolla Village was a plus. Your home was super clean and decorated very nicely. We all felt at home. We have stayed at the OBX for the past 6 years and every year we stay in a different beach house. This house BY FAR exceeds any other house and we definitely plan to return! It is charming, inviting, CLEAN, baby proofed, fully stocked and furnished (from toys, dishes, towels, movies, games, beach accessories and more), and conveniently located to shopping, the lake, and a very short (private) stroll to the ocean! We absolutely loved the hammock and jacuzzi tubs! It is just PERFECT for the whole family. My family had such a great vacation here. This home is so clean and stylish. So many home we have visited seem great in pictures, but not always accurate when we arrive. This one is even better. It is so clean I felt comfortable letting my 10 month old crawl around without concern. My 2 year old was contained on the decks and with baby friendly efforts made for guests, made us feel like we were at home. This family put a lot of thought into the details as well. We are looking forward to a return visit next summer.
