  This home was immaculate!! The pictures do it justice but the modern amenities and stylish decor highlight the caring details these owners put into making this a wonderful place to stay. We had so much fun during our girl's weekend! It was the perfect location for everyone coming in from out of town. It was only a short taxi ride to downtown Austin and shopping at SoCo was even closer. The convenience of staying here all together with stellar, modern day home amenities verses the cut and dry time we could have had in a hotel somewhere made our stay much more memorable!! The owners even made sure the outdoor furniture was under the covered patio as it was rainy our first day there. Extremely, thoughtful! I would 100% recommend staying here for any fun, eventful gathering. I mean, there's a ping pong table!! Who couldn't love that? They thought of everything to make this home as fun, luxurious, and entraining as possible!!

  The house was lovely. I think the most important thing I can say about this place is that it was just as advertised. The pictures truly show what you get. The location is conveniently located just off South Congress and while we didn't end up walking to much, driving to places was quick. We stayed in the house as a short family reunion -- my parents, sisters, husband and I and our toddler. I was a bit nervous about my toddler in a non-childproofed home, but the home doesn't have a lot of extraneous breakables and it was easy to keep her away from areas she shouldn't be in. The house has clearly been redone and redone well -- while the total square footage isn't huge, it's used well -- the common areas are open and even with 6 adults and a roaming child, we had plenty of space. The backyard is everything it looks like in the pictures -- it really is an extension of the house. Only drawback is that you have to go through and outside gate to get to it, but it's literally 3 steps. There are a lot of little touches that make this place special -- K cups, spices provided, welcome snacks, wood for the fire pit, etc. And, the owners are responsive if questions arise. And, the entry system is awesome -- no keys have to be exchanged (there's a customizable coded lock system) so the arrive time can be more flexible that other rentals I've stayed in. The parking was fine -- there wasn't an issue finding street parking and we were able to get 3 cars (two small sedans and a larger sedan) in the driveway. The houses in the neighborhood are close together -- we could hear neighbors in the backyard of another house in one of the bedrooms (and, they weren't throwing a raucous party -- just talking.) But, other than that, the neighborhood was quiet.

  House was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, spacious, and I LOVED the backyard/patio area. Great for talking and hanging outside. Also, really close to downtown and 6th street where we were headed at night. Would definitely stay here again!

  This house was fabulous for our Bachelorette party weekend for eight ladies. The beds were amazingly comfortable and all the appliances were new and chic. Valerie has thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable, including beach towels, bottle of wine and we LOVED the bacon and half n half in the fridge! That was just how we wanted to start off our long weekend. The outdoor seating area was perfect for sipping our wine and eating tacos from Torchy's when it rained. The fire pit was also put to good use the night it didn't rain. The location was convenient to all the cool food trailers and shops on SoCo. We did taxi to 6th street, but it was only a five- ten minute cab ride away. Definitely will come back to Austin and to this house! It was perfect! More comfortable than a hotel, with plenty of common space to hang out for a mid-size group.

  We recently stayed her for a girls weekend getaway... and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! As soon as we arrived we felt at home. The location was great, and we never felt concerned about our safety. Everything was so clean, the rooms were spacious, the kitchen and backyard were perfect, the linens and towels were great quality (no scratchy bedspreads and sandpaper bath towels), and there was even a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us! The weather was nice, so we were able to enjoy the patio, and at night it was cool enough to utilize the fire pit and make smores. We had a great time just hanging out at the house. Saturday morning, we made the short drive down South Congress for brunch at Magnolia Cafe, then walked along the street doing some shopping, people watching, and enjoying the sun. It was the perfect Austin experience. Throughout our weekend, there were several comments made about our excellent choice on the house, how several of us would love to have a place like this, and that we'd have to come back here for our next visit. This house was a perfect beginning and ending to our fabulous trip, and we hope to stay here again next time!   We stayed here for a girls weekend and loved it! After a previous unfavorable experience at a rent house in Austin, we were relieved to walk in and see that we had nothing to worry about (and even had a sweet little bottle of Prosecco waiting for us). The location was great, and we felt safe the entire time. The house was spotless when we arrived. It was such a great feeling to see how clean and updated everything was. Towels and bed linens were great quality. No itchy blankets or sandpaper bath towels. The weather was perfect so we got to enjoy the beautiful patio. When it cooled down at night we started a fire in the small pit at the back, and had smores. We had a great time at the house. On Saturday, we made the short drive to SoCo for a long day of shopping, food trucks, people watching, and just enjoying the beautiful weather. Cab fare to downtown was very reasonable. Overall we had a wonderful experience! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay here!

  What a pleasure this getaway was. We stayed Friday-Sunday with a group of 6 girls. We pulled up to the house around 1 pm Friday & we loved the fact that we could check in so early. The curb appeal of the house was so cute & inviting. The second we walked in my friend & I immediately commented on how amazing the house smelled. I realize how crazy that sounds but I really appreciate a clean smelling house & it not only looked clean, it smelled clean too. The second thing we noticed was mine & my friends favorite bottle of prosecco sitting on the dining table next to an assortment of godiva chocolates. Valerie, miss thang, you do your homework!! It immediately set the tone for the weekend!! We then took a tour of the house & every corner we took was another surprise. The rooms were so cute & comfy. The beds were so comfortable & the linens were super soft!! The bathrooms were stocked with the best smelling handsoap I've ever used. I know, here I go with the smells again but trust me, you will say the same thing when you stay here!! Every bathroom was overflowing with huge, soft towels & there were even more in the linen closet. I think we could have each taken 2 showers a day & not reused 1 towel but if we had there was a great washer & dryer we could have used also. If you think the pictures look great you won't believe it in person. Every room honestly looks like a page from an ikea catelog!! I slept in the two twin bed room & I can honestly say that I slept better in that bed than I do in my own bed! Valerie spared no expense when it came to making her guests comfortable!! The back yard & patio area was a huge hit. If it would have rained all weekend we wouldn't have cared because of how amazing the outdoor patio was. While we didn't do any grilling or cooking, there was more than enough opportunity to. The house is absolutely stocked for anything you may want or need to cook with & eat off of. The firepit & seating area aroud it was also a fun spot while playing horshoes. The house is very conveniently located near everything you would need or want in Austin. Restaurants, food trucks, nail salons, grocery stores, parks, were all within walking distance & yes we went to all of them. We checked out around 2 which was also awesome! We didn't feel rushed & we got a nice lunch in before returning to Dallas!! To sum this trip up, we had an amazing weekend & Valerie was so sweet & helpful & the house was aweome!! We will come back!

  We had a great time at this house. It was close to where we needed to go, the beds were comfy and the backyard was key. Excellent nights after a hard days work of BBQ, ping pong and an open fire. Help was only ever a phone call away if we needed anything. Highly recommended!

  My husband and I are from Austin, so for our trip back to visit, we were looking for a home that would feel like home--- a warm and inviting place our kids and grand kids (who still live there) could come visit us at. And that's just what we found at at this lovely rental. Not only was it warm and inviting, but filled with fun vacation-like perks--- an awesome deck with couches and a grill for outdoor gathering, ping-pong, a fire pit for weenie roasts and s'mores, Netflix for movies, board games, and more... We had so much fun and made many life-long memories for our family during our stay. We were also looking to be close to the Austin scene, and there's no better place than this rental--- right off of vibrant South Congress, one of Austin's most "happening" parts of town, with it's food trailers, cool shops and restaurants, music scene (including the historic Continental Club), and the like. Just a block away is Amy's ice-cream--- Austin's yummiest! My grandson and I took more than one walk up there for a tasty treat. More memory making. And just around the corner is a very hip cafe and garden center called "The Great Outdoors." Even if you're not into gardening, it's a very cool place to hang out and look around. And then there are the practical conveniences. HEB grocery store is just a couple blocks away, with everything you need for cooking in this rental's state of the art kitchen. And all major highways and thoroughfares are just a hop, skip, and a jump away for getting to any part of town you wish. And just up South Congress, only a few minutes away is Zilker Park, with its Botanical Garden, Barton Springs pool, canoe rentals, and other fun stuff for any one of any age. Spent all afternoon there one day. Had a great time making even more memories. Back to the house--- Believe it or not, it looked even better in person than in the photos! It was clean and well-maintained, and GORGEOUS! We were greeted by Valerie for a quick tour and welcomed with warm cookies from Tiff's Treats! We felt right at home from there on out, and you will too! Needless to say, we didn't want to leave when our stay was over :-( Next time we go to Austin, we need look no further--- we know exactly where we want to stay. I just hope it will be available!

  A group of our friends were meeting in Austin for a late December wedding, and we decided to stay in town through New Year's. We wanted a comfortable place to hang out that was still close enough to experience all that SoCo and Downtown had to offer. This home turned out to be a perfect rental for us! I knew that the owners had been renovating the property (they were still getting furniture at the time of booking), but it was still above and beyond what I had expected. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a very appreciated fully stocked carousel of coffee for the new Keurig. The whole house was new, clean and stylish. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The backyard is perfect for entertaining with large comfortable patio couches, a ping pong table, a grill, fire pit and horseshoes. I would have happily stayed longer...or even moved in! To top it all off, Valerie was friendly and easy to work with. The home was beyond my expectations already, but she went a step further leaving us a bottle of prosecco and New Year's favors to kick off our celebration. Though the house is slightly farther south than an ideal SoCo location, we had a great time at the bars downtown and shopping at SoCo boutiques. Overall, this home was perfect for our Austin weekend and is highly recommended.
