Can't wait to return
Can't wait to return
I stayed here with my husband in March 2010 for our honeymoon. I was looking for something with a wondeful view, and I found it! As the previous poster said, the road up was quite intimidating, especially since there was snow still on the ground as we got higher up. But definitely worth it. Loved the double sided fireplace and looking through the journal. We didn't end up using the jacuzzi tub, but enjoyed the hot tub on the deck very much. The only drawback was I remember the pipes being very loud when you flush the toilets and what not. Other than that, I only have positive things to say! We're looking forward to staying here again as soon as we can!

Wonderful Cabin, cannot wait to return
Wonderful Cabin, cannot wait to return
We drove here the first time in 2007 and were mildly (ok, seriously!) intimidated by the road leading to the cabin. Once you get there is makes the drive well woth it! The second time we went in 2010, we must have forgot about the road because it takes some getting use to. Again, wonderful place to stay. We love that we can bring out dogs. A lovely journal was there for the travelers. It was so fun to find the journal from years past with our first entry. Looking forward to going back and adding a new one! Great view! Hot tub is well taken care of (I have stayed in other cabins where the lid looks like it will fall apart if you move it). Near by cabins are far enough away that it is usually still peaceful and a lot of privacy. Nice little kitchen with full size oven for cooking. Washer & dryer are convenient. Security system. Bedroom is small but we spend most of the time on the patio or in the living room. Jacuzzi has brown water as the pipes are old, so don't plan on a romantic bath. Chicago girl who is very picky and will stay at this place again. We love hiking in the mountains! Need to find a dog walker in the area for our next trip.

Manager response: Melisa. Thank you for your kind review of our cabin.. Since you stayed with us we have upgraded the kitchen to stainless steel appliances and moved the microwave above the stove. This has added more counter/cooking space. We have also upgraded our TV's so hopefully you will return soon and see our progress. We will look into a dog walking service. There is a lady in town that might know of some one. Will keep you posted. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
