Welcome to our great ocean view home in the Park Hill neighborhood of Cambria!
This wonderful home sits on a very quiet corner lot only two blocks from the beach. Regularly returning guests frequently comment that the home is incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It is one of few rental homes with all living space set on a single floor.
The house receives rave reviews for its 'Awesome Views,' nicknamed for good reason. On clear days, one can absorb the view stretching from Cambria clear to the Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, and Hearst Castle can be seen from the deck. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee, or relax on the deck chairs and watch the sunset. Or fire up either a gas or a charcoal barbecue on one of two decks. This house is a short walk to the simplest beach access in Cambria as well as to Fiscalini Ranch which boasts amazing walking trails. Grab a pair of binoculars (provided) and hike along the beach trails to spot seals and seasonally migrating gray whales.
This is the perfect home for couples or families. The great room and well-stocked kitchen overlook the beach. The large master bedroom/bath sits privately, opposite two nice bedrooms. All of the beds are very comfortable, with cable TV and DVD players in each bedroom. A sleeper/sofa is available if needed...the home has space for 8 people. The gas fireplace in the great room makes for a cozy evening. There is a huge DVD library stocked with hundreds of movies of all types and there are many popular books for your reading enjoyment.
This is a DOG FRIENDLY home (sorry, no cats). Bring your laptop; the home has HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET! There is garage parking. A washer and dryer are provided.

Minimum Stay Requirements:
2 nights in the off season (Typically after Labor Day weekend to Memorial Day weekend)
Low Season Special: Stay 4 nights get the 5th night Free!
3 - 4 nights over holiday weekends (President's Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day)
4 nights over Thanksgiving and during the Christmas/New Years season
5 night minimum during the summer

We could not have asked for a better vacation home! My wife, daughter, and small dog stayed for 4 nights at the start of the year. Everything was perfect. The "Awesome Views" were certainly there but so were a beautiful interior, comfortable furniture and clean rooms. The modern kitchen had every appliance and tool anybody could have wanted. The owner gave a courtesy call the first evening to see if we needed anything. We appreciated that but the house was all in order. The location was perfect being very near the coastline but still away from the one larger road near the water's edge. We would recommend this home to anyone coming to Cambria. We make an annual trip along the coast around New Year's and hope to stay here again next year. This one's a winner!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

We are staying at Awesome Views right now. This is our 2nd time, and we already have Christmas reserved. The home is very comfortable with everything you need. We are out most of the day hiking, or on the beach in cayucos. Awesome Views is only a few blocks from fiscalini ranch which has many trails. Vickie Schumacher.
