We have stayed at the Ocean Front Apartment last year and can absolutely recommend it!!! It has a fantastic panorama view right above the ocean, it is big enough for 2 people and very neatly designed with attention to little but cute details. I cannot think of a nicer place right at the ocean in walking distance to OB downtown. Absolutely fantastic! Also, wireless is included and well functioning everywhere, washing is possible, all kitchen and watersports equipment is there, and much information about the area and around. If you like romatic sunsets above the ocean or going to bed and waking up with a silent sound of the ocean, this is the place to be :-) Also, the O´Hara family is super nice and we cannot think somebody has problems with them ever. We will certainly come back regularly!

We absolutely fell in love with Ocean Beach, the wonderful view, and of course our host and hostess, Tim & Kathy. We were so relaxed and the weather was perfect. Loved Newport St. being a walk away and the Farmers Market was awesome! Almost afraid to post this great review and have someone steal up our week of vacation availability...We will definitely be back! Marie & Neal in Chicago

My family spent spring break at this getaway this year. After a day of sightseeing and being around people, coming back to this vacation rental was wonderful. It felt like the rest of the world did not exist. The appartment was cozy and had all the basics. However, what it had lots of was an incredible view! Can't stay enough about the gracious hosts. Tim was very friendly and helpful (from sightseeing tips to minor fixes in the appartment). Our flight got cancelled because of an airline glitch. Tim invited us to stay on as his guests as the next group was not arriving for a few days...How many "businesses" would offer that. Thank you to the owners. We hope to be back some day.

Beautiful ocean-front vacation spot! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and has a great decor. Kitchen was well-stocked with all of the basic necessities. The owners are helpful, friendly, gracious hosts, and were always available when needed. Location is close to the multitude of attractions that San Diego has to offer (e.g., beaches, theme parks, boundless outdoor recreation, museums...you name it). Off-street parking, laundry facilities, and beach toys/chairs/umbrellas were also welcomed conveniences. We would definitely return to this wonderful vacation rental!

The Location was great. You can see the waves crashing from the balcony. We were able to ride our bikes everywhere (OB, Mission Beach, SeaWorld). The place was clean and all the amenities were there. Tim was very nice and offered great tips as far as local bike routes and sight seeing. We loved eating at Hodad's burgers...man, they were screaming! We also spent some time drinking beers at some of the many bars and other restaurants on Newport Avenue (just a few blocks away). I would recommend this property to a friend, and we'll probably be back! -Ryan & Julie

I rented this apartment for some days in October 2011. It was the perfect place to recover from the strenuous national park hikes in the weeks before. The pacific panorama view is unbelievable. The quality of the furniture and the equipment is very good. Due to the nice neighbors and environment I felt secure all the time. I'm looking forward to my next stay in this wonderful apartment!
