This cozy home sits atop 4 wooded and private acres that feature walking paths, fire pits, wildlife and a seasonal stream. An open floor plan both upstairs and downstairs. The house is only a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and is centrally located to all of the beauty and key spots that Mount Desert Island has to offer.
The layout downstairs has a small bedroom with queen bed and closet as well as a full bathroom with washing machine and dryer. The kitchen opens up to a dining table and common area with a wood stove for the cool nights. Upstairs is an open area with a half bathroom, walk in closet, queen bed, TV, sofa, and balcony to look out at the yard and driveway.
The yard has several areas to pitch a tent and camp by the trickling stream.

This house was just perfect for our week in Bar Harbor. The location was central enough that we could easily visit any part Acadia conveniently. We were just a few minutes from town, but yet set back in the woods where it was quiet and relaxing. The property is beautiful. The house was clean and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of renting this property was actually the owner. The communication and attentiveness of Jenna was incredible. We were well cared for from the first email communication with her. Anything we needed, Jenna was on it. And even better....Side Street Cafe, Jenna's restaurant. Oh my heavens! You HAVE to eat there! Best. Lobster Roll, EVER!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We rented this property in September 2011 in it was AWESOME! Quiet place on 4 acres, clean, fully equipped kitchen, nicely decorated, fireplace, forest, stream, many places to seat and rest outside, the perfect place to rest and recharge the batteries. The owner is very nice, accommodating and helpful. We will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
