The unit was not as clean as I would have expected when we arrived. There was no mention of the number of steps to get up to the unit which would have made it impossible for some people and difficult for anyone. There could have been more cooking pots and skillets. Overall our experience was okay because of the beautiful view and things available in the area to do. We always love the ocean. But I can honestly say I will probably never stay here again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Cove.I enjoyed being right there by the lagoon, as well as being so close to the beach. The location is great, real close to everything. Laid back atmosphere. The rooms were set up nice, and they were clean. I found the kids area to be a neat place. There was a pool open too. All in all I would have to say I had a wonderful experience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: Our family lives in Alabama. I'm a firefighter, my wife of 25+ years is a high school teacher, and we have two children. My family has been vacationing in Gulf Shores since 1985. Every time we had to leave, we drove by the white sand beaches saying, "see you next year." So, this is our dream come true.
Why the Owner Chose The Cove:
The beach is just across the street and the LITTLE LAGOON w/ private boat ramp sealed the deal. It adds so many things to do when you're not at the beach. It's also easy to dine at the favorite restaurants and not get caught-up in traffic.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Make sure that when you come, you bring your toys! Sea-doo,canoe, kayak, boat, or bike. And don't forget the fishing gear. There is a parking lot for your trailer that's visible from the condo.
