  Unfortunately the weather was pretty miserable the weekend we all came down. But I guess that means we got to enjoy the house a little more. We rented out both sides of the Duplex and there were 10 of us total. The house is gorgeous and has a great proximity from the beach. I did a lot of shopping around Tybee since I was planning this vacation and now I know for a fact this is the best bang for the buck. The top deck offers a great panoramic view of the ocean (if only it was ever clear enough to see a sunrise) and the downstairs had plenty of parking for all the rental cars. We became friendly with a neighboring set of renters and they brought us a huge platter of leftover breakfast food. The trend down in Tybee/Savannah certainly is that people are friendly. But back to the house... It was incredibly spacious. So much that you might be in another part of the house and not know anyone else is in there. The sleeping arrangements fit perfectly for all 10 of us with plenty more room. We cooked breakfast one morning as well as grilled in the afternoon and there were plenty of utensils/pans/kitchen space to facilitate that. All in all, I have desire to experience this place one more time so I can see just a tiny bit of sun while I'm on the island and I will for certain be coming back to this house. The owner of the house was ready by the phone and very helpful with any questions whenever I needed to contact her. And if you need a cab drive to Savannah, look up Big Mike! He is a legend.

  This was the first time in a long time that most of my family was able to get together. As children grow up and have their own family it gets harder and harder to get everyone together at one time.We have visited Tybee several times before for weddings and my granddaughter was in gymnastic and we stayed on Tybee. Actually while they were filming The Notebook. The house was just as it was described, the appearance and amenities were great. I rented both sides of the house and it was just perfect. We had plenty of room to have our privacy, but at the same time we could all be together and not be in each others way. I would highly recommend this property. Short walk to the beach and to all of the shops and the pier. Loved it!!

  We rented both sides for 15 people. The set-up is perfect for multiple families with comfortable furnishings. Beach chairs, umbrellas, grills, and beach trolleys make the beach all the better. Balcony porches and widow walks make for relaxing time also. Enjoyed our trip.

  Comfortable facility. Clean and well furnished. Lots of room for a crowd, exp. when you open the two sides and open it up. Quiet with a wonderful terrace for viewing the beach.

  Our family arrived on 6-2-12 and was there for 1week. It was amazing. There were a total of 32 of us in and out over the week. 4 generations came and had a ball. The house was perfect, the beach was very close and the sand dunes added a relaxed and private feel to it. The town of Tybee is like stepping back into time to a simpler time. We loved it and are making plans to return next year.

  We spent the week in Tybee before our daughter's wedding. We had young and old staying at the house, with plenty of room for a first-time meeting with the groom's family. There was plenty of room and all our needs were met. The house has just about anything you would need. I would definitely recommend this rental not only for the house and location, but also because the owner is so kind and easy to deal with. Thank you Mary Ann!

  A marvelous vacation rental for a large family reunion, which we certainly enjoyed recently. the duplex was exactly what we needed to divided up adults, teens,,and a younger grandchild. The house was very clean, free of vermin, and most comfortable everywhere. Two kitchens were fully equipped. Only a minor problem with an ice maker. The rental was in a quiet location with easy access to the beach. Would we return? You bet'cha!

  We had a wonderful time. There were 13 of us in the house and it was perfect for dealing with 6 adults and 7 children. The owners were extremely nice about dealing with an internet issue we had so my wife could participate in a Webinar during our visit. They even made arrangements for us to use the owners parents' apartment for us (we already had made arrangements with the library). We will definitely try to rent this place again when returning to Tybee Island.
