  We were a group of six friends who stayed at Shawn's beautiful home for a girl's getaway. It was perfect! The home had plenty of room for all of us and was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it for people who are looking to enjoy the absolute beauty of the island without the crowds of downtown and public beaches. We enjoyed relaxing at the house and waking up to the gorgeous beach views, spending time with very few others at the beach directly across the street, running and walking through the residential area where the home is located, and using the public bus (not a first choice, as it gets crowded and is about a 10 minute walk from the house) and taxi services to go downtown for meals and nightlife. I am glad we did not rent a car because driving on the opposite side of the road looked to be very confusing. Shawn is able to recommend wonderful transportation options. Shawn was very attentive to any questions or needs that we had. He always was immediate in his response and made us feel very welcome, and he is very kind. I would definitely stay at OceanSpray Beach House for any future visit to Nassau.

  There were four adults for our vacation/family visit. We arrived to a beautiful Nassau setting and a beautiful condo to enjoy. There was plenty of room for the four of us and all the comforts of home. I do suggest that you rent a car for maximum island enjoyment because the townhouse is not close to downtown but it is in walking distance to a grocery store and bus stop. Shawn was great and since Nassau is a regular family stop for us, we plan on making Ocean Spray our new home away from home when visiting family.

  We could not have been more pleased with this rental property. This is a beautiful home in an ultra safe neighborhood. Everything needed was provided. We did not rent a car but found the trip into the town center by public bus was very enjoyable. The music was a little loud but it put you in good spirits! The young people on the bus are friendly and very helpful as are the drivers. We also enjoyed the morning walks to the grocery store which is also the bus stop. This coming from an almost 70 year old grandmother! My 22 year old grandson travelled with me and he found the home perfect! We did hire David for one day and was a very educational drive. He was educated in the US and is also a teacher and wonderful, fine man and historian. Shawn, I can't say enough good things about! He was available and able to help with any problem. Shawn, if you ever need another grandmother....just call! He is well educated and has set high goals for his future and is well on the way to accomplishing them! He is pure class. The beach is beautiful and just a walk across the road. Families come in the evening and picnic and play. A very family friendly neighborhood. Renting this property will not disappoint.   My family and I had the opportunity to rent this beauty. Eight of us spent 9 days there and we loved every single minute of it. It was our first time in the Bahamas, and let me tell you we will def be back to Shawn's place. The house was very spacious, it was fully equipped and I mean FULL. It was beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby. We really enjoyed our stay with the beach being 30 seconds away across the street who wouldn't. Also, when we arrived the house was very clean and kept very well. Shawn was always just a phone call away and he always there for anything we needed. This is truly a gem. We loved it and we enjoyed our vacation. We will be back for sure! Thanks Shawn!!!

  If you are seeking an almost townhouse overlooking the ocean with spectacular views and comfortable furnishings, look no farther. We spent 8 glorious days in Shawn's masterpiece and loved every minute (especially since we had rain 3 of the 8 days and didn't venture far from the townhouse). Besides being in a very quiet residential area, the access to town, Paradise Island and even Cable Beach was only a short drive with our courteous and super friendly driver, Dave. We would definitely recommend Dave for anyone staying at Oceanspray or Seebreeze. Shawn was the ultimate rentor, always there if we needed something and always extremely professional and polite. We will definitely return to Oceanspray on our next trip to Nassua.

  What a fabulous stay, at a fabulous place. (Clean, orderly, and well-maintained) We are a family of four and the house was more than big enough for us. It has a well-equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, so we didn't have to go out for every meal. It was an easy trip to the grocery store, or to neighboring beaches, downtown Nassau, or Paradise Island (Americans: Keep Left! :-) ). Taxis are also very reasonable if you don't want to attempt the drive. I think the culinary highlight of our trip was visiting the Nassau fish market, picking out a huge grouper that had just been caught that day, having it filetted there, and then bringing it home and popping it on the gas grill. Life doesn't get any better than that. Sun worshipers: We could lay out in the sun right on the balconies if it got too breezy on the beach. Finally, Shawn is an amazingly helpful gentleman and took terrific care of us! Delbert

  We stayed a week at this property and really enjoyed it. The place is beautiful and has all the comforts of home. We are a family of 4 (two kids) and found it to be very spacious (there was a big bedroom that we didn't even use). The place offers great views of the ocean. We visited all the beaches around the island and found ourselves gravitating to the one right in front of the place. It is a very nice white sand beach, and when the tide goes out, there is a big area with only a couple of inches of water for the kids to play in. Shawn was great to deal with. Very helpful and friendly, anything we needed he was quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again. Matt

  My husband and I stayed at Ocean Spray for 2 weeks, this past Feb-March. We called Shawn from the airport and he gave us excellent directions to the house. Shawn is very friendly and helpful. He offered suggestions for some great restaurants and sights to see. He was always available but not inconveniently so. We rented a car but did need a driver for one of our day trips. shawn recommended David. David was a very pleasant and knowledgeable gentleman and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend him. Plus the price was right. The view from the house was incredible. I opened my eyes in the morning and watched the sunrise from the bed. I also got some awesome pictures. The weather was perfect, 70's every day.Lots of great souvenirs downtown. we would definitely stay at oceanspray if we go back to Nassau. Thank-You shawn.

  Me and my family just returned from our Bahamas vacation. The trip was our first to the Island, and our staty at the Oceanspray Beach House added to a wonderful experience. The rental property is beautiful. The home is exceptionally clean and fully equipped. We were able to feel "at home" while on vacation, which means a lot to me. The location of the house allows easy access to many tourist attractions. We were able to travel (via rental vehicle) to Bay Street for shopping, the grocery store, Atlantis, Cabbabe Beach and the Fish Fry easily. The property owner was extremely accommodating. He was readily available to answer questions we had pertaining to the property, the various islands, and the best places to experience authentic bahamian fare. If you are traveling to New Providence and seeking a place to enjoy the view of the morning sunrise and ocean breeze, I strongly recommend that you stay at Oceanspray.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We stayed here for 10 days in March. 4 adults and a 3 year old. The place is beautiful and has all the amenities. We prefer condos and houses over hotels. More space and not confined to a room. We rented a car so we went downtown a few times where it is really busy. But we like to relax, read, play games, have cocktails...just fun! Perfect for a 3 year old to run around. Fenced side area. There is a small beach across the street and the house is in a peaceful residential area. So very friendly and safe area. Each evening the tide went out and there is a flat rocky area to walk out on. We would head over and look for shells, tide-pools, and all other types of really fun sea creatures. Lots of sea urchins under the rock shelves to see. So it was really neat with our 3 year old. Very shallow so safe to walk really far out. We found a starfish and saw lots of crabs. Shawn the owner is so great. ANYTHING we needed we just asked! Very hospitable and right next door f you ever need anything. The store for groceries is about 1 mile so if not renting a car, suggest taking a cab from the airport and have them wait while you get some basics. There is a grill as well so we did alot of of pork chops, burgers, steak, veggies. That was great to have! If you do rent a car, very easy to get around. If going downtown, go after 9a or so and leave before 4p. RUSH HOUR! The fish fry is a cool area to stop and grab lunch. Dinner at Luciano's downtown is a must! It was phenomenal! We did a day pass to the Wyndham one day for a change of pace. You can also use the Sheraton property right next door so fun to do. Lunch buffet included in the price. Highly recommend Blue Lagoon Island. It has been renovated and it is gorgeous. Lunch- burgers, chicken sandwiches...pretty basic but not bad. We took water and some snacks with us. We went over there at 10:30 am and came back on the last ferry. We look forward to coming back and staying at Oceanspray Soon! If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay with family or friends. THIS IS IT!
