My husband and I stayed in the Guest House for an early spring visit, our first spring visit to Hendersonville area, we have visited twice before in the fall. The owners have done a wonderful job in providing a beautifully furnished and decorated home away from home, supplied with every amenity. We agree with all reviews on this page. Trying not to repeat what has already been said. We have grown accustomed to living out of suitcases, but this time we were able to unpack and utilize the closets and dressers. We also enjoyed the flowering trees in the yard. The Guest House is close to the interstate, but you would never know it, country setting with plenty of privacy abound. Interstate access allows you to explore in many different directions, whether it be, Carl Sandburg Historic Estate in Flat Rock, or the Waterfalls around the Brevard area, the Blue Ridge Parkway (be sure to visit the Folk Art Center at Mile post 380), Biltmore Estates (beautiful in any season), or Pearson Falls located between Tryon and Saluda and maintained by The Tryon Garden Club. Close enough to visit our favorite Pizza joint - Blue Mountain Pizza in Weaverville, NC and Weaverville's bakery Well-Bred Bakery and Cafe. Of course a trip to the Hendersonville area would not be complete without an afternoon stroll in Hendersonville historic downtown. Visiting the galleries and many shops, as well as having dinner at our favorite restaurant Cypress Cellars. Also we can not leave out Asheville for a bigger town experience, did not visit this trip, but always entertaining. There are so many craftsmen/artist in this entire area you feel truly inspired artistically after visiting, this is true for every place you visit in the NC Mountain region. Whether you are looking for a place to stay and enjoy the comforts of home in the Flat Rock/Hendersonville area or a home base to explore the many attractions of the area, the Guest House in the perfect place to do just that. The home is everything that is described plus more. The home is very clean, large and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the fireplace was great to use. During our stay we went hiking nearby to Triple Falls, Hooker Falls and High Falls in Dupont State Forest. We also visited the Biltmore House. We are looking forward to staying at your lovely place when we return for another visit. The owner Carol was prompt and helpful. Thanks again for making our stay so enjoyable.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were very pleasantly suprised with your Guest House. Pictures do not do it justice!! Our 8 year old loved playing in the large yard. The house is spacious and very well equipped. We were able to visit with our older son as he attends school nearby, and bring his grandmoms along! Very convient to downtown Hendersonville, which is a nice way to spend an afternoon with all the quaint shops. Can not say enough about the fact that we have paid only a few dollars less to stay at a nearby hotel with only 2 beds!!. Thank you for allowing us to share your Guest House to welcome in our New Year!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
