I enjoyed the stay. The condo was comfortable and met all our expectations. I would definitely recommend to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We enjoy working smarter, not working harder and one of the benefits is having time to vacation in beautiful Lake Hickory! It's a great get-away from the heat of summer in South Florida.
Why the Owner Chose Hickory:
We fell in love with the property and bought it within 2 hours of our first viewing! It reminds us of summer in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State, where we are originally from. We especially enjoy having a meal on the deck overlooking the pool & lake. Mornings are spent having coffee and watching the squirrels play in the trees. The back of the condo is 3 stories up and has the feel of a treehouse.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The property is only 2 miles from the marina where we keep our boat. Lake Hickory Marina rents boats & jet skis. It is within walking distance of 2 community parks: Glen C. Hilton Park and Geitner Park (with boat launch & bike trails). Historic Downtown is a short drive with restaurants and an historic movie theatre.
