Sea Level Condominiums
Welcome to our newly renovated condominiums. These units are individually owned by Ricky and Beth Nelson. We hope you will have a pleasant stay with us and we are here to ensure you do. We have taken great strives to ensure our condos will satisfactory meet your needs, but we are located just 10 minutes away should you need additional products or services. Please feel free to call us @ 252-241-4683 between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If I don’t answer my cell, leave a message including a call back number and then try my land line at 252-225-8371. I will get back to you ASAP. We’re here to make sure your stay with us is your most enjoyable vacation ever.
Sea level Condominiums are located directly on the banks of Nelson’s Bay. There is no prettier sunset than the one you will see as you enjoy the evening sitting at the end of the boat dock located directly behind the southwest end of the complex. Please feel free to check out all of the common areas. They’re yours to enjoy free for your entire stay with us.
The condos have been provided with the necessary bath towels and linens sufficient for the duration of your stay. If you should need additional bath towels, just call. The condo will only be cleaned upon your departure. If you require cleaning services during your stay, just call to schedule the cleaning time. A washer and dryer are located inside the build just to the right of the entrance to the restaurant. They are free for your use at any time for washing and drying of personal items.
The Sea level Inn Restaurant is independently owned and operated. Opening days and times may change, so please contact the restaurant manager for the latest details.
The closest food store, combination gas station is the Cruise-Mart Red and White, located about 5 miles further east on highway 70, in Atlantic (252-225-0191). They also have a hardware department for all your outdoors supplies (252-225-8581).
The closest boat ramp is just 7 tenths of a mile west of our condo, at the intersection of highway 70 and 12 and is located under the high-rise bridge. You will see the rock access road directly across from the intersection. This is a Wildlife ramp, it’s free, and is for boats up to around 25 foot in length. There’s approximately 4 to 5 foot of water exiting Salter’s Creek channel southwest into Nelson’s Bay where you have 6 + feet of water and 9 + feet as you enter Core Sound and head for Drum Inlet, the Atlantic Ocean, the Cape Lookout National Seashore, or other destinations of your chose. If you head north from the boat ramp, you will follow Salter’s Creek Channel several miles until you enter Long Bay with access to Neuse River and Pamlico Sound.
I am a USCG licensed Maritime Marine Captain, 100 Ton Master with 45+ years of local waterway knowledge and will assist you in any way possible to make sure your boating ventures are safe and enjoyable. Guide Service is available on a limited bases. You can make reservations for this service when you call to reserve the condo or by calling my cell after your arrival. I’m also available to assist you in launching and retrieving you boat. Just call and we’ll arrange a time.
After your fun day on the water is over, simply return directly to the boat docks located at the southwest end of the complex, secure your watercraft and walk back to your condo. Free RV and boat trailer parking is also available at the southwest end of the complex.
This is a very remote area with almost endless exploration possibilities, but if you are spending your days out on the water and have limited knowledge of the local waters, I would recommend that you return back to the condo before dark.
Although cell phone coverage is fairly good, even out on the water, it is not always available in all areas, so be vigilant on where you are and how far you have gone. A good quality GPS and a VHS radio is required gear down here.
Hope you have a great day and God Bless.
Ricky and Beth Nelson

The unit was very clean and quiet and well supplied.Everything was updated and new looking. Ricky the owner was very thoughtful and helpful. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and just relaxing. Our favorited part of the trip was horsebacking riding at Cedar Island. We did the sunset ride and it was beautiful. The stable owner, Cheryl was great and took picutures of us along the trail. It is a must do! We ate at Nelson's cafe and the owner there was also very nice and the food was good.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. It was so quiet and peaceful at your place. Just what I needed. Away from the hustle and bustle but everything I could need right down to the fly swatter. Your place was so spacious and clean and all on the ground floor. No steps. The restaurant on the premises had excellent food and conversation. The view across Nelson Bay from the pier was beautiful. The Outer Banks were nearby and a trip was arranged. Again, beautiful! I didn't want to leave but hope to be back again in the near future. Thanks for making my visit so pleasant.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: I am a fourth generation “local” to this area and was born just ½ mile from our condo in Sea Level . My wife, Beth, and daughter, Julie, and I have lived at our current location in Stacy for the last 20+ years. We enjoy the beauty, serenity, and charm of the local area with the water being our main attraction. We enjoy the miles and miles of back-waters, plus endless salt-water marshes and sounds with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean through Drum or Burden’s Inlet, but most enjoyable of all is a day spent on the unspoiled and unpopulated remote barrier islands of Core Banks, just you and nature.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The Waterfront: This waterfront efficiency condo comes complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dining table, bedroom and bath for $100 per night, with a two night minimum. Sleeps a maximum of 2 people on 1 queen beds.
Due to the way in which this condo unit is configured, we can offer it for rent three different ways in order to meet your lodging needs and your budget:
The Efficiency: The Efficiency condo comes with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dining table, bedroom with 2 queen beds and a full bath, and a 36’ flat screen HD LED TV. This unit is available for $100 per night, with a two night minimum. Sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
The Condo: This is our largest condo and comes with a one bedroom with two queen beds and a full bath, a second room contains a full size, completely furnished, kitchen and a seperate dining and living room combination area, a 36” flat screen HD LED TV, radio and CD player, love seat, and large dining table. This unit is available for $150 per night, with a two night minimum. Sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
The Combo: Combines the main Condo and the Efficiency Condo which is accessible through a connecting door. This Combo unit is available as a combination of the two units listed above. This Combo unit is great for larger parties or two couples, each wanting a separate bedroom and bath, but still shares the full sized kitchen, dining and living area. Two nights minimum. Sleeps a maximum of 8 people.
